| I know I should just join a cat forum for this question, but I know we have some really knowledgeable people right here.....Do you think my 10 yr old's cat sudden skin allergy could be food related like has been suggested for some of the dogs? The meds are pretty expensive and they only give me a 10 day supply which always gets rid of it for about a month then I see signs of the allergy coming back. It's not severe, and it always comes back very slowly. My vet hasn't explored it as of yet. When he first diagnosed it, the fields were being worked on and he said she probably has just developed an allergy like people do. I'm sorry, but I can't throw tons of money out the window right now so I want to try a few things before I push to start handing over my pay check. I'm hoping if I switch her to a better food this could fix the issue. I will admit she is on pretty crappy food. I tried looking to see if there was a cat food analysis and can't find one so I'm not even sure what would be a good food. |

| I saw Taste of The Wild cat food last time I was in the store. Haven't moved on it yet since they seem pretty stable on the Chicken Soup stuff. I would just tool around the store and try something from a brand you trust. |

| I have noticed that since my cat got older he also has gotten allergies, He has to get shots for it or else he is congested and sneezing all over. It is expensive and I dont like to take him in. I have been looking for something like a home remedy that would work. Hes now 18.5yrs old, I always worry that one day he will be gone I got him for my 16th Birthday. He has been there through a lot in my life. Makes me sad just thinking about it. |

| They also have Nature's Variety in a cat food - since I always have to make sure I don't accidentally buy it. There's probably someone else out there with this problem so google "cat skin hot spots" or something similar until you get to a result that seems legit. Good luck!!! |

| I switched Tabitha and Dusty over to ToTW Venison and Salmon a little while back and their coats have gotten extremely soft. they were on the regular Costco brand before the switch. Hopefully by changing the food, your kitty's skin will feel better. |

| It's possible. If it came on suddenly, did anything change around that time?
We feed our cats Orijen same as the dogs. I never knew much about animal nutrition until we got Ghost, and then we thought if it's good for him it's probably good for the cats too. I'm really happy with it and their coats are very nice. |

| We just started TOTW for the cats, they seem to like it. Are they spots of missing hair? Or dry skin spots? _________________ Force Free Training ThreadCheyenne, Mishka, Mickey, Rodeo, & Odin Are you a Husky owner in South Florida?! Join our facebook meetup group! |

| They are on her belly where the hair is thin anyway. Occasionally she will get one or two spots on her forhead |
