2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.

I am so amazed. Bodhi swims! He is my first husky who will go in the water on his own.
Here are some pics from our trip to Marblemount, WA and the relatives' farm.
He was off leash inside their six foot fence until he discovered the four foot high door and the two foot high inner fence around the chickens. Then I put the long line on him.
But he dove right in the pond with their black lab.

So much fun. Shania would swim to China if you let her. She actually figured out that she would float with the life jacket on. She would pull kids around with her lead hooked to the jacket. Shadow on the other hand would go in till the water hit her tummy. Stormy went into the water last night by himself for the first time, but I didn't let him go to far since I had a concert to play in.

Demon does not like to swim but loves to play in puddles and with the hose. Ghost we're not sure yet, he likes to play with the hose and puddles but haven't tried swimming with him yet.

Bodhi had a great time! That's awesome. Mya loves loves loves the kiddy pool and hose so we want to attempt to take her to the doggie beach to see if she'll actually go in. Kody is getting used to the water now so not sure if he'll be a fan of it.

Everyone here swims. Mickey and Odin only really like the lake but the girls and Seamus can't get enough of the pool lol

Kemba likes putting her paws in the water, but hates actually going in. She's so cute on the beach - she will stand at the edge of the water but run away when the waves come. I tried putting her in the pool, she immediately swam to the other edge and jumped out.

haha Cool pics! Looks like Bodhi had a blast!

I have an Alaskan who loves to swim. I was doing canicross with her back in October and we stopped at a nearby creek. I had never taken her to the creek before and I thought I was going to have to coax her to get a drink but she jumped right in!

The racers will run through deep puddles while training but I'm not sure if they would swim...might have to test that out next summer... Wink
