Incase anyone is interested I helped out my sister in law for an issue of getting her Mastiff into the back of her station wagon. I built a ramp for her that will work and is a base system that can be modified to fit anything you have.
And it even packs nicely in back of truck off to the side
All I used was:
2 -- 5 inch long bolts with eyelets and wingnuts
2 -- 5 inch standard bolts
2 -- 6 foot long 2x4s
1 -- 6 foot long shelf (there are different widths)
6 feet of carpet run cut down to fit the width
1 tube of construction adhesive
package of 1" carpet tacks
Tools needed:
3/8" electric drill
3/8th wood drill bit
hammer
knife
hours it took:
3 hours total- 1 hour shopping - 2 hours work (Cali helped me)
Cost of supplies:
$35 (costs will likely vary per location)
If you would like anymore info please send me a PM, also if close I can make you if need be- just let me know and we can work something out.
