| I know our first husky thought that she was above running like a crazy dog in pursuit of a small round object. She absolutely saw no purpose in the activity and would not do it even once in all of her 17 years.
Sabaka, on the other hand, loves fetch! |

| My Bob has now learnt to play "fetch" by himself - he is so cute - he has found away to throw his ball himself up ino the air and then he goes charging after it , knocking everything over in his path - as naturally this act is only done inside the house!!! I am now trying to train him to fetch his leash to go for a walk - think i got more chance of falling pregnant - he looks at me as if I am crazy. |

| sierra cares less about fetch, she does like to catch the ball in her mouth if you toss it to her. Jack will chase the ball pick it up and drop it and go do something else so i have to fetch the ball... _________________ |

| Fetch in our household involves different rules than the typical game. lol Dakota's version of "fetch" is to run after and get the item that was thrown and then play a game of "keep away" from mom. I don't care that he doesn't bring it back as long as it gets him running and playing so he burns off some energy! _________________ |

| I find that "fetch" with a rope toy works best especially when I throw in a good game of tug when they bring it back.
Speaking of cats fetching.... This is my Luna:

I know the feeling, its like I will chase it but you go get it. I guess we both get the excercise then. haha |

That's how we got Sasha to learn fetch. She still gets bored after about 3 throws though. |

| Willow loves fetch too! We play a game of fetch everynight! She has also learned to toss the ball with a flip of her head but she prefers to drop it in my lap and have me throw it for her. She has really bonded with me once we started this ritual. |

| We finally got Ghost to bring back a frisbee today. Most of the time she'd just run after it, pick it up, and just chew on it. Today we got her to bring it back 3 times before she got distracted and went off to dig another hole in the yard _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Haha I will have to start training my cat!
Ghost doesn't really play fetch. He's got the chase part, but he prefers it when it's another dog's ball and he can run around the dog park with it saying 'it's mine!!!'. |

| Isis loves fetch. We did teach her the skill in two portions though. The fetch is the going to get it, and "bring it back" gets her to drop it at my feet, in my lap, or directly into my hand. The only thing she won't do is catch the ball in midair. |
