Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

This is what I found when I got back from the grocery store. Super dog had decided she didn't like her insert anymore. She didn't chew on her stuffed Kong, no not her. She didn't chew on the BBQ bone either. If anything I figured she'd have shredded the vintage Houston Oilers towel. Nope. Only hard ABS plastic for this girl.

Yeah she has a tendency for destruction. She's great if I'm home. If I'm gone she tends to eat things, like the upholstery off of a chair, the kids toys (she likes Lincoln Logs ALOT), socks, or just whatever tends to be handy. That's why I started crating her if she's home alone. Now she's eating the crate. Crazy dog.

Ha! Mya did the exact same thing to the insert of her cage when she was about 1 year and 1/2 old!

Lol Mine pushed his out of the crate without destroying it when we were crate training years ago. I had to put a lock on the crate to keep the tray inside. You can buy a metal tray as an alternate which will be more sturdy than the plastic tray, but it may not be the best idea if you think she'll seriously hurt herself trying to destroy it.

Wow. I feel your pain. This is what Frankie did to his crate for his great escape....

I took a picture because the people at the pet store didn't believe me. Then when I was at the pet store with my son and Frankie , since I had no crate to leave him in, they had to call a code Adam and put the store on lock down because we couldn't find my son. Turns out he was hiding because he was mad at me. They then believed anything I told them as they could see I had 2 crazies on my hands and were a little more helpful.
