Oh Melissa! Thank you! I just bought a "Furminator" for Vladimir, Mariah & Damian (Goodness, that thing is DEFINITELY worth the money!) & will send pictures of a more handsome Vlad! Right now, he has what I call a "gullet", that turkey-neck hanging thing that most of us, as we grow more "mature," refuse to acknowledge... However, once I think I rake it over with the "Furminator," he will look like a young stud once more!!! The great thing about Vladimir is that he is, for the most part, healthy for 15 yo! No masses, worms, parasites, etc...he is 49 lbs (was 51lbs 2 years ago) but has never been overweight, regardless of the fact that he eats mostly people food (Mediterranean diet, I might add LOL). But he does have serious arthritis in his hips...he is on meds for that....not sure I'm seeing a difference, though . I only hope Vladimir makes it long enough to see Damian a young adult dog! I think it will be great for all of us! |

Heather, what is a half-nose? So interesting! However, I just looked at Dami & it appears his is now fully black.... Vladimir has a permanent snow-nose. |

| They all look great! My mom has an old American Eskimo who was starting to slow down a lot from arthritis. I told her to switch his food to Acana and put him on Nupro Silver suppliment. It seemed to help a lot, but no clue if it was the food or the suppliment that helped the most. He was on Purina. _________________ -Sara |

My dogs get Glucosamine & Chondroitin treats on a daily basis. They also get Nupro Silver with Joint Support in their food daily. For my dog with joint problems I also supplement MSM and Ester C for her and the combination of everything has really helped her a lot. Just sharing what has worked for mine. _________________ |
