| There are two huskies at the Lillington, NC shelter that only have until Tuesday! I have notified Southern Siberian Rescue but have not heard from them.

| That's too bad. That red and white is beautiful! Any luck finding a rescue? Maybe look into all breed rescues too. If you can get them to FL, we could put them in rescue. I'd guilt my mom into it. _________________ -Sara |

| Trust me I'd love to take in the red and white but I am in a one bedroom apartment with two dogs and two cats and a bunch of reptiles and fish, no more room (or funds) for another dog!! I am so upset, I have not been able to find anyone to take them What motive would an all-breed rescue have for taking in two random huskies at a random shelter? |

| All breed rescues tend to take in any breed, at least my mom does. Can go see the huskies and see how they act? If they are friendly, just e-mail an all breed rescue and say they are friendly and are due to be PTS soon. If they have room and do bigger dogs, they'll probably take them. I know it is easier to find homes for pure bred dogs, so an all breed rescue might be happy to take them. Pretty much the way my mom finds dogs is either she goes to the shelter and finds ones she likes or gets a call from a friend or someone who works at a shelter and they talk her into it. _________________ -Sara |

Yes, I have emailed and called multiple times this weekend, no answer. And I don't think I will be able to go see the dogs. I have school tomorrow until 12 and work at 4, and since I don't get paid until Tuesday I wont have the money for gas for an hour and a half round trip. And they get put to sleep Tuesday. =/ I feel so helpless! I do not want these dogs to die but I can't get in contact with anyone that will help in time! |

I live in a one bedroom apartment with two dogs and two cats already, I just don't have the room. I suppose I could try asking the shelter. But stupid me left my phone at work yesterday so I wont get it back until 4 today until then I wont be able to call anyone. |

| Well I have good news and bad news. Bad news first: Either I have not been able to contact like 90% of the rescues around here or if I am able to get an answer they say they are full and can't get the dogs. And the good news is, someone adopted the huskies!!! Yay they don't die tomorrow! |

| That's great! That is the one good thing about huskies, most people think they are beautiful, so they tend to get adopted out easily. Those two sure cut it close though! _________________ -Sara |
