Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! | Nope, no water in the crate. I don't want him to spill it all over the place plus I don't want any accidents in there either. He does #1 for like a minute straight when we get home from work so imagine if we left water in there LOL |

| I leave a very small bowl in the crate for them. I only fill the bowl about half way, so even if they do decide to drink it all, its really not that much. I waited until my girls were about one or two years old before I started doing this. As pups they would have just knocked it over. |

| I don't leave water in the crate for my dogs. Less likely to have accidents or have dogs that are desperate to pee when I get home that way. There have been rare cases when they'd be really thirsty when I got home but those were pretty rare so long as they had a drink before going into the crate. _________________ |

| I crate Kale outside, so i ALWAYS put water in his crate. Have not had accidents or any spills yet (crossing fingers lol) if I was crating inside i would probably not leave it in. I'm gone for about 5-6 hours at a time, and I don't want him to get dehydrated outside when it's warm. Every dog is different though, Kale sleeps the whole time he's in his crate, but some dogs are more active and they may spill it all over. |

| i went and got water dishes that attach to the side of the crate, the ones you put in bird cages. funny how the bird ones are cheaper then the dog ones but the same thing.... never had any issues with pee or spilling them, jack ate a few. both of our dogs are older. now they have free range of the down stairs and have the 2 crate dishes as well as a floor bowl and none are ever empty, i think they know we will be gone for some time and regulate their water intake cause i get home let them pee and they are back in chugging the water down. _________________ |

| I always have water in the crates. I use a pail that attaches to the side of Siku's crate like this: And since Elara will dump a pail, I got her this bowl this weekend: _________________ -Sara |

Same with Kale, he drinks a little of the water in his crate; pees when I let him out, then he goes straight to his crate before going inside and drinks...not likes there's fresh cool water in the house... weirdo lol |
