Some of you have seen my post on Facebook with this video but I wanted to share with the forum too. Here's a clip we shot of Layla doing what she loves to do when she gets riled up: jumping on her bed. Now if only we could get her to actually take naps on it!

This is so funny, I have never seen a dog do that. She is very creative, I can only imagine what she is going to get into in the future if she can think of this now!
She is so cute!

It was one of the first experiences she had on her bed. She's done it a few times since. I think she sees it as a giant toy, haha.
Next video I really want to get is Layla playing the shell game I taught her last night. She seemed to have a lot of fun. It was fun just watching her sniffing the cups and turning over the correct one with her paw to get at the treats! I only used two cups to start and she chose the right one probably 85 percent of the time, so I might increase it to three today ...
Erica, this does make me wonder what she will get into once she hits that teenage period in another four or five months!

Remember Liz, she was the ringleader in escaping the whelping pool!

That is seriously one of the most adorable things I have seen in a long time. She's like a little pouncing fox!

Haha, yes, that is true! Luckily she hasn't shown any signs of wanting to strike off on her own and escape ... yet. She still cries a little when we leave her alone, even if we step into another room quickly. I'm not sure she'll ever grow to willingly go into her crate and use it as a safe haven. She cries when we leave her in there, though she's getting a lot better at night. Luckily she keeps pretty calm in there, though, no signs of trying to break out or destroying things. I like to say she just loves to be with her peeps!
Glad everyone gets a kick out of this video as much as we do! I can't wait to see what funny thing Layla does next.
