Can anyone recommend a good LED collar light? I want something I can clip to Violets collar when she goes out and night. I see quite a few online, but just wondering what you all have come up with that works. Thanks! CG

http://www.rei.com/product/762179/nite-ize-spotlit-led-pet-light is what I've used when I take Koda out to the dog park when it's going to be getting dark and then used to also use it for walks. As for just a walk, I just got your normal blinker you'd put on a bike and clipped it to the middle of his leash, just because I think it stands out more being midleash than on his neck.

I have used other brands, the one they have at Petsmart and another blinker I got from a local petstore that had a husky of the package, both I didn't like the clip as much and the batteries died way quicker. This one is also nice because you can just make the light stay on or blink.

This is what I have:
http://www.backcountryk9.com/94/0/Products.aspx
There's 3 settings for lights: steady, slow blink and fast blink.

I bought 2 when it was only Ginger. One for her and one for me so we both can be seen.

Ooh, how did I not know Ruffwear had one? I like that you can clip that and put it on a collar.

I looked at several, including the one you have Heather, and I liked the one I got because it clips on to the leash, collar and belt loop and it has 3 different light settings.

She got me one too for secret santa. Works pretty well.

This is what I've got-
http://www.backcountryk9.com/16/0/Products.aspx?gclid=CPSYjI-ek6sCFQwaQgodG2w5tA
It's bright, but gets hidden in the fur.

I've had all the other products too with my last husky, who managed to destroy them.
She was a terrific head shaker- the lights would go flying into the night.
The best was a bike blinker that I'd clip to her collar, but she managed to break that too.

So actually, I'm still looking.

Just to double-check, she's not going out at night alone right? Wink

How are things going with Violet? You've had her a week now right? BTW, I love the brown around her eyes.

Where Beth works at they print up all types of novelties and blinker lights are one of them. We use the rejects if they didn't pass print quality. If I wouldn't go broke mailing them out I'd send a couple to each and all. Now realize what will be part of the secret Santa thing this year.

Six days so far. And, things could not be better! She has acclimated so well into The Family, it's as if she's been with us since day one. Twice this week, I woke up with her on the end of the bed. How she got there without waking us up is a mystery. Never moved. Tonight was her first Anderson traditional Saturday night pizza (but all she got was a plate to lick). This is a right of passage for all Anderson pups. She is so sweet! And loves everything and everybody....even our (alpha) Beagle...

We're going Jeeping Sunday, just she and I.

Thanks for all the LED tips, too!
