| So Brad has been telling me there is a house down the road that has a husky. He was doing a traffic stop one day and noticed it in the backyard. We dont exactly live in a nice rural culdasac, so I have never took the initiative to go and look for myself. Tonight we decided to take Neo for his walk together, and I ask him to show me which house he saw the husky at. It is 9pm, very dark, hardly any streetlights, and we are in these peoples yard trying to find the dog in the backyard. The have another dog tied up that looks like a boxer, and he was going nuts when he saw us and Neo. We tried to get a good look, but all we could see was the huskys tail curled up above the truck in the driveway. I wanted to get closer, but Brad said the people were looking out the window at us. I guess the dogs barking got their attention. We have now made plans to go back during the day so he can show me the Husky. I am just excited that there is one right down the road. Maybe we should just go knock on their door and ask to see their dog instead of sneaking around their yard at night? Try explining that one to the cops. "I'm sorry I scared them officer, I just really wanted to see their dog!" |

| Welcome to the club! I'm constantly on the look out for huskies. Saw one I have never seen yesterday, and I had to drive around the block to get another look! Having a licence plate from a different state helps, people just think I'm lost! |

| I use to husky stalk, but then I realized most of the people I ran into weren't as interested in the breed as me, lmao. |

| There are a LOT of huskies here. In a 1/4 mile radius, probably around 13 or so (in just the neighborhood!). Obviously I run into then during walks sometimes... and I try to make conversation and they're just like kbye. I'm not overbearing or crazy about it either. I just like to ask their name, age, some funny quirk about the breed, let Koda and Rogue say hi.. not these people! |

| I'm like that too and I've only had Faolan since July! Lol. I have only ever seen 3-5 other huskies, one lives in some townhouses about 3 mins from my apartment. I was driving home from work by a different route than usual and saw them walking their all-white husky to their mailbox. I now always drive that route in hopes of catching another glimpse. Then I ran into another all white husky at a park 5 minutes from my apartment and another all white one at the dog park about 20 minutes away. I am not sure if they are all the same dog or if the one from the townhouse and the regular park were, they were all with different people but it could have been different members of the same family. The people at the regular park walking the husky were teenage girls, the person walking it at the townhouses was an adult man (who I also saw jogging with the dog later on my way to work so I know that was the same dog). I'm pretty sure the dog park white husky was a different dog, it looked more thin and fluffy but its hard to compare since its been a while since I have seen the townhouse husky, even with my stalking. Oh, and I have seen the same black and white husky at the 20 mins away dog park twice now, and I saw another black and white husky (possible mix as it had an interesting face mask) at a different dog park. |

| WHAT'S WITH ALL THE HUSKIES IN COLORADO!?!?! I am SO jealous! Bob and I are pitiful... We are scoping out huskies and husky owners all the time. We have our eyes on a house in the neighborhood next to us where we've seen a husky. I saw a very old man walking what looked like a very old husky on the drive to the kids' school (nearly wrecked). Even our friends will see us and report husky sighting in their neighborhoods! We don't have very many husky friends around here... |

We don't have very many husky friends around here... It's good weather for them! And huskies are popular dogs with military families (though 20% of the time they end up on CL) and I live right out one of the gates. Go on base and there's about 20ish more.. lol |

| I have yet to see another Husky anywhere in the FL Panhandle. I was hoping to see one at the New Orleans dog park, but no, none there either. I'm a little jealous of all you guys who do have Huskies to stalk _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | We haven't found many huskys around here. There is one going through dog training at the local petsmart. Sadly when we saw him, we didn't have Isis with us to let them meet. |

Pretty much all my friends here have dogs, but as far as I've found out I'm the only one with a Husky. We really need to start going to the Pensacola dog park though. Who knows, maybe we'll meet one or 2. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. Dog park?? What's a dog park??? (I'm a real whiner today...) Yes, Shannon, I really need to just drive the hour to meet you at your dog park some Saturday! My son's soccer team was in in your town playing Roanoke Valley Christian School a few weeks ago and then he was back last Saturday to run the Mud Run. It's not like we really live that far away... |
