| I can not wait for this hot weather to break. Poor Neo, I feel so bad for him. I take him out in the backyard to potty, and it has been so hot that he pees on the nearest bush and just lays down. He looks absolutly miserable. It has been over 100 everyday for the past few weeks, with high humidity. The wind did blow one day, blew hot air right in your face. Needless to say, Neo hasnt been getting the appropriate excersise. Ive tried taking him early in the morning and after dark, but there has been no escape from the heat. My boss at work wanted me to stay late at work friday, and I agreed for a little while, but I told him I couldnt stay too long because my dog would have the house tore up when I got home. Boy did I hit the nail on the head. I got home, and the living room floor was covered in bra's and pillow stuffing. I couldnt be mad, because it is not his fault that he hasnt been getting his excersise. We cam home today after a visit to my grandmothers, and the pillow I had stuffed the foam back into, he had it all over the floor again, along with a bra or two. I was mad, but again, poor guy, he needs excersise! Guess What? It started pouring down rain right before dark, and I took that as the perfect oppurtunity to cathc a break from the heat. We went for a long run, or should i say, Neo pulled me around town till he finally tired out. I can only imagine what people were saying to themselves driving down the road watching that dog pull that wet crazy lady down the road! Im not sure how long this break in the heat will last, but theres not many pillows left, so I hope it gives soon!
Oh, someone stopped and asked what kind of dog he was. I proudly stated that he was a Husky. The poor dumb old man said a hussie, well thats the prettiest hussie ive ever seen, and drove off laughing. At least he almost got it right, better than the man that walked down the road the other day and started calling to him "here wolfie, come here wolfie wolfie wolfie"

| Today was our break in the heat. I'm not sure it even hit 80 degrees. It was wonderful and it is down right chilly outside right now. I'm loving it! |

| I wish the weather were cooler in Miami! Our AC broke today and we're very uncomfortable right now. Not to mention the poor furkids. They're actually not panting anymore and sleeping, but they couldn't go on their walks today. If I were to walk them with no AC to come home to that wouldn't be good! I figured they would be going bonkers in the house with no walk, but surprisingly enough they're not. Poor things must be so hot to not be playing or harassing me |
