AMEN. However, on the heels of Sid's visit (and medical issues), huzzby won't let me even consider getting a second. :-( Besides, Nikolai became a fuzzy little jerk with another dog around... he might not be cut out to be a big brother. *cry* |

Oh sadness!! Now Chirs doesn't want a second at all, ever? Or do you think it'll just take time before he'll let you consider another? Or because Nikolai became a jerk that he won't consider another? Oh well...I can always come visit with G&S and give you a group husky therapy...and the best thing about that is G&S are just visitors so they will go home when you're done with therapy! _________________ |

| Aww Kate, I hope your hubby changes his mind. I'm in the same boat, when hubby realized what a wild and crazy dog Dakota turned out to be he said no more huskies EVER! Maybe if I'd gotten a 35 lb female that was super laid back he would have okay'd a second but of course I picked a working line male who is high maintenance even for a husky. My hubby did say that my next dogs could be a pair of Alaskan Klee Kais though! _________________ |

| Chris is convinced Nikolai needs to be "an only child" because he became a crazy barking, resource guarding, possessive/aggressive, jerk. So, rather than work him through those issues and rescue another, he just wants ONE dog. Besides, he wants to maintain his precious lawn, and that's much harder with two big fuzzies. Oh, and he is also worried about Cosmo and wants to make sure that Cosmo doesn't get pushed aside for "dog care." *harumph* I'm heart broken about it, but instead choosing to focus on how much I love my current "pack" and loving every second of all the visiting fuzzies I can bring. ;-) |

| Please tell your hubby to watch my video Husky chew toys and he will see that 2 is easier than one, and in saying that, that is WITH ALL DOG BREEDS. Dogs have a pack mentality, and do better with a buddy around. I volunteer at my local shelter and people come in to surrender their dogs be cause they "dig, chew and bark all day and its driving me crazy" And I reply, well, its digging, chewing, and barking all day because its BORED OUT OF ITS MIND! We humans can entertain ourselves when alone with books, TV, internet, etc.... A dog has none of that. We get dogs and try to conform them to live they way WE live life, not the way they are born to live it. As you can see from my video's, when I get home from work, my dogs are pooped because theyre already been playing all day long, and their brains are being stimulated by the interaction. As energetic as huskies are, I feel as though having only one is almost torture to have them by themselves... |

| ugh, sorry Kate. Sierra became a HUGE bitch when we had Maui it could have been cause she was another female or that sierra just likes her little brother. i think we also realized we are a 2 dog family, but we will dog sit for up to 2 weeks so you all know! _________________ |
