| Hi Guys! My New Little One Has Been On Blue Buffalo Since We Changed Her Over From Natures Balance (or something to that nature lol). We Did A Gradual Switch Over && It Turned Out Well For The First Week Or So Then She Started Having Water For Diarrhea (TMI I Know LOL) && Then It Would Go Normal But Then It Would Go Back. We Took Her To The Vet So They Could Do A Fecal Exam && Sure Enough It Turned Out She Had Coxidia. We Finished All Her Meds Yesterday && The Vet Told Us Her Stool Was Suppose To Be Normal By At Least The Third Pill Well She Just Finished Her 5 Day Cycle && The Stool Is Still Water. I'm Starting To Really Think It's The Food && Maybe I Should Switch Her. Has Anyone Else Had Problems Like This With Blue Buffalo? My Shiba Inu && Labrador Love It. Laylah Does Too But My Pekepoo Doesn't && Since Laylah Is Getting Sick From It I'm Just Worried About Feeding This Food To Her Even Though The Other 2 Are Fine With It. It's An All Life Stages && The Flavor Is Fish && Sweet Potatoes. The Guy @ The Store Where We Bought The Food Said An "All Life Stages" Would Be Better Since We Have 2 Puppies && Then 2 Dogs That Are 3 Years But Only 10lbs Each. I'm Following The Bag For Recommended Amount Of Food && Only Ever Let Them Eat That Amount Of Food. Any Ideas? |

| I would suggest feeding her something bland for a while (scrambled eggs& carrots or boiled rice & chicken) then start introducing BB again slowly once her poo is "normal". That way you could totally rule out if it's the food or not. I know many husky's don't do well on kibble with grains but every dog is different. Demon our GSD/Husky mix can handle pretty much anything except BB & Merrick. If it is the food I would suggest going for something like Taste of the Wild, it's an all life stages kibble that's grain free, or if price isn't really a big deal I know Orijen is a great grain free food also. I'm sure there are others who are more knowledgeable than I am that can give you better suggestions. |

| I agree with Ashley, back off the kibble for a while- put your new pup on something easy and bland. Once stools are formed and solid slowly introduce the kibble back.
Taste of the Wild is an all-life-stages grain free kibble which is very inexpensive for what it is. Around here I can buy a 30lb bag for around $45. There is a new website called wag.com which sells taste of the wild and I believe the coupon code Wag20 is still working. _________________ Force Free Training ThreadCheyenne, Mishka, Mickey, Rodeo, & Odin Are you a Husky owner in South Florida?! | arooroomom - i totally just found that sit yesterday and that's where I'm going to buy the stuff from now on - it's so cheap! our vet recommended TOTW to one of our friends german shepherd puppy so that's why I want to try it and you can't really beat that price even though I just pay $5 more for the BB. But thanks for the help I am going to try the bland diet...is there a specific recipe to that? Like should i boil the carrots to put with the eggs? should i just boil in only water or should I add anything to the water? |

| The first food I tried Rogue on was actually the food you have Laylah on and she got the runs really bad. But then again, she has a sensitive stomach just like my boy and wasn't tolerating any kibble.
If you're doing a bland diet, do boiled chicken and scrambled eggs- you can also use potatoes instead of scrambled eggs(so that you have a protein and a carb still). There's no reason to add carrots or any veggies as she will just poop them straight out, they are just a filler to make her less hungry.. no benefit in using them. |

| The regular blue gave Delilah loose stools as well, but not even 24 hours after switching her to wilderness, she started doing great. She loves the salmon kind, and it's a six star rated food. It's not very expensive, in my opinion, and it's grain free. So if you are like me, and you like the blue try wildness. |

| Of course she should be pooping. She should poop about as many times as you feed her. How much did you feed her and what did you feed her? |

| When I first got Dixie we were feeding her BB Lamb - not good at all! Then switched to Organix and it was fine, but the best thing I've done personally is go raw. I saw a big difference in her when I did. It just depends on every person and their doggie though, but I also recently took the advice on here of doing the eggs since Navi had an upset tummy, and it does help! I've mixed in some chicken now and she's got a huuge appetite and is doing great tummy wise |

If she just had a bout of diarrhea her intestinal track just might be empty. Wait another day before hitting the panic button. Biko just went through t his last weekend and took him another day or two before he needed to take a dump. |

| We have fed Neo BB Wilderness since we first got him. He has done real well on it. We tried to switch him to Canindea(sp?), and he hated the stuff, and he got runny stool. (It wasnt my idea i swear, blame Brad, lol) We are now going to go back to the BB wilderness, and also start feeding our old lab BB wilderness as well, as soon as he finishes his diet. |
