| Hello I'm new to "It's a Husky Thing"! These are our babies... Orion is our youngest at 2 and a half months- Nova is our girlie girl; she's 11 months old and just the sweetest little girl very friendly and mellow. Orion is more of a spunky character lol he loves to play with his teeth & he's incredibly stubborn. He loves to chase my 3 year old and LOVES digging holes. Currently we're also fostering Scout [Bottom picture] we got him from a friend after he was surrendered to her. Already owning three huskies of her own she called on me to help her find a home, luckily my dad is a dog lover and has a huge yard I've already given him the run down of the breed. It's needs, it's likes and dislikes. Scout came to us and didn't even have a name after being with his previous humans for a month (He's from Orions litter therefore 2.5 months also), the way they put it was he didn't respond so since he followed their son around they just called their son. He spent days and night is his kennel because both worked and lived in an apartment with no yard =(. When we picked him up his nails were like claws and he hated being touched or picked up. In the short 5 days we've had him he's learned to sit, stay, and give us his paw and has become a cuddler. He loves attention, walks and wrestling on the couch with my hubby, Nova and Orion lol! We'll be sad to see him go but know my dad will give him all the love he needs! Orion & Nova Scout Scout cuddled up napping with my hubby. |

| Thank you! We love them so much we were so happy having our own kids and then we got our pups and realized there's an even happier than that! LOL! They definitely bring Joy to our home and since my husband serves in the US Army and is away often [He's leaving again sunday for 3.5 months] they make incredible companions. I've never loved another dog as much as we love them, all 3 of them. And my parents had a Maltese, numerous Chihuahuas and even a German Shepherd who became a police dog. Huskies are just different and we're a Husky family forever now <3

| Welcome! You have a gorgeous pack, and keep up the good work with Scout. I suppose I can forgive you guys for being Army, I'm Navy We actually have quite the contingent of active duty folks here now, it's nice to see. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword.
