It seems a little odd, I dont really understand. My city (London, ON) has 3 dog parks amongst many dog-friendly conservation areas. And... your city doesn't have one? I feel like my city is being greedy.

I know, it's crazy!! It is a small city of just over 75,000, but we have NO dog park. A small committee formed in 2007 to do a feasibility study and then drew up plans and was incorporated as a non-profit group in 2009. They own the land, but need $35,000 to finish Phase I.

We are currently #2 out of the 15 cities in the contest!!
