| Hello everyone, May I just start by thanking you all for the wealth of knowledge that is readily available on this site. It has help me a great deal in what to expect from my little girl as well as how I can fulfill her life and make her as happy as she can be. It is truly a unique and great community you happen to have here and reading your stories as well as experiences is Both great for a smile, laugh, or full of information. So again thank you so much for having this little forum here. I'm usually not a very active poster on these forums, but I tend to read everything and take all the information I can. But having just got my little girl home it's great knowing that I can come here for information when ever I need. thanks so much!!! Having just moved into our first house last month the wife and I started looking for our dog, once I finished building the fence in the back yard. Both of us took 2 weeks off to start driving out to shelters and breeders looking for the perfect dog for us. The wife found a breeder an hour away from us that had a liter of 3 pups 4 months old but the people who had reserved them (They had 5 people on their waiting list with deposits and all) had canceled for various reason (wanting a different breed all of a sudden, Didn't want to wait the months needed to get the pup, ect.) Either way we drove over to to check out the Breeder, the pups, and the rest of their dogs to see how they were. All our questions were answered, they breed the dogs for Show, and they were treated extremely well. The wife and I even arrived much earlier then we said we would to see what the breeder's setup was like when he wasn't actually expecting us. It was a very nice operation and we fell in love the second the little girl was taken out of her kennel and ran right over to both of us. Needless to say we signed the papers right away and drove off with the little girl, who shall hence forth be known as Tika. We got to spend all of last week with her and it has just been amazing. She is super loving, Very goofy, smart, and full of mischief (just what we expected and hoped for). She hated her Crate the first night, and the first day we left her alone, but is taking to it like a trooper now. Barely whining when we leave for work or going to bed. I have been driving home for my lunch hours to walk her real fast to get a BM moving along, play with her and just get her out of her Crate for about an hour and accidents have been few. She has only real soiled it the first two days when she was super tense about us leaving. She's a Real tiny thing that absolutely LOVES to eat, explore and run around the pool while jumping up and down my deck. She has also been chased around by my 15 year old nearly blind cat that has no claws (not our choice we got her from a rescue already declawed) All in all I just wanted to introduce myself in hopes that should a quirk or trouble arise I can bug some of you fine people with it. Again thank so much for everything and your time. Below are just a couple of Pics of our little girl First day we had her home in the back yard. Side shot of TIka showing off her many many colors Tika Laying in her crate with the door open..... Crate training is going well

| Thanks so Much for the Kind words! Jennet your absolutely right... Zoey looks very much like Tika! She is so Beautiful. As are all Your fur babies! We've actually heard she looks like a little fox a lot, coyote too . Either way she knows she turns heads when she walks and she's a big ham, but I too am very curious what color she ends up with. She has started to turn a bit darker since moving in with us. Just back from our first Vet check up and apparently Tika is doing real well... I was under the impression she was kinda Skinny but apparently she is right on Target. She is only 19 pounds at 4 and a half months so I was starting to think she needed a bit more weight but her mother was on the small side as well. She might just end up being a bit smaller then some of the biggys on this forum . Anyways I will do my best to provide photos and be as active as possible but believe me when I say I read 90% of whats being posted so thanks again! Side note..... We just picked up her bed last night, took her with us so she could pick it out. Since bringing it home she has taken to running full speed down the hall and jumping on her doggy bed spread eagle as if it where a pool. There is also some dispute as to if the bed belongs to the blind cat or not Anyways thanks so much again to all of you! _________________ Is this about the cake problem?
