Just found this site, Me and my wife have been the proud loving owners of our 7month old pretty girl Pierce. We saved her, her other owner was going to kill her because they left their pet bird out and she tried to play with the bird and injured it, and it died. We have had here for about a month now and we are loving every minute of it.

Well its good to see she has claimed her corner of the sofa.

Hey Chris welcome!!! Where in Missouri do you live? We live in St. Louis and will be picking up our new husky Bella July 7, and we are trying to find her some husky friends!!

Thanks for all the kind words there are tons of beautiful sibe's on here and Yes this is our first sibe, and we are from southern Missouri about 30-40 mins south of Joplin. We are talking to a shelter about adopting another sibe, we have learned quickly that she needs a play mate.

Yep the potato chip syndrome got us lol, we adopted another sibe his name is buckeye, these pics are from when he was in the shelter they were a kill shelter and were gonna put him down.

Thank for all the compliments, and yes she does look a lot like nikki lol, we have been having some issues with him so far he has been very toy aggressive as well as treat aggressive towards pierce, we started this whole venture because we had been talking to a shelter in memphis about adopting a young male sibe from them, and the lady i had been talking to asked me if i would foster buckeye and see if he fits in well with our family, because she was going to pick him up for her husky rescue but they were gonna put him down before she could make it and i couldn't let that happen. It has been almost 4 weeks we have had him should i be concerned about his temperament? And we are having some issues with him going to the bathroom in the house even after you take him out for a long walk he will refuse to go then when u get inside he will wait till ur out of the room and then do his business. Any friendly advice Thanks
