| Subject: Tianna saves the day. Wed Jul 15, 2009 9:42 am | |
| Well this is not really a heroic story ( it is to me lol ) but i thought i would share with you what a soft and gentle baby Tianna is.
So last night i was lay on the sofa feeling very sick , watching tv with the lights dimmed. All of a sudden this horrible creature comes into my house ( a moth but i swear it had a 6 foot wing span ) I am terrified of anything that has wings so i dived up faster than i ever imagined i could and screamed in sheer terror , shouted " help help get this monster outo my house " at this thing flying around my house. Andy didnt move..well couldnt move really cos his sides were splitting with laughter at the sight of someone that can handle a snake or spider without even a bat of an eyelid running around the house screaming blue murder at a poor little moth ( monster ) Anyway the dogs came running in from the garden with fur raised thinking mum was being murdered or something. Seeing that there was no harm / stranger in the house most of them looked at me like i was a freak and walked away ( i swear if they could have shook thier heads and slapped me they would have ) Anyway Tianna promptly sat at my feet waiting for this murderer to come back when she saw the shadow of this monster on one of the cushions on my sofa She slowly walked up to the moth..picked it up as gently as i have ever seen and slowly walked to the back door and let it go , to fly happily on its way knowing it had aged a crazy woman 10years. She then came back into me as if to say " there there mum , the monster all gone " There was not a scratch on the moth and to say i wasgobsmacked is an understatement. I never knew these dogs could be so gentle as to be able to pick a moth up by its wing and let it go to fly on its way without a scratch. Needless to say i feel very silly today at the fuss made but i am so proud of my baby girl. Tianna is my hero lmao Andy finally finished crying about an hour later lol |

| I tell ya under normal circumstances she would have eaten it but for some reason she was ever so gentle and set it free. She probably thought it had already suffered enough being not only scared out of it wits but also deafened by this giant flailing freak lol I did give her a treat , she earned herself a yummy frozen yoghurt drink |

| Lol it wasnt funny at the time but now i cant stop laughing at myself. Usually im burning citronella candles so dont get any flying insects in the house but typically that night i didnt bother to light them. That will teach me lol |

| koozie is my little cricket eating boy. for some reason i'm a terrified of crickets and grasshoppers, so i always send the dogs after them if i see them...and izzy will just sniff them and herd them my way ( not a fun thing) but koozie will either eat them or take off running with them and drop them outside.
but a great story and shes such a good girl, protecting her mom like that! |
