So we are staying at the Doubletree at the Arena. We have a really nice room- pretty cozy for our 10 day stay, I can't complain! Hopefully we'll have our house within 2 weeks, but that's aside from the point of this thread.

So we have a nice little balcony. The weather is lovely, thus we decide it would be nice for Koda to be able to lay out there. Jarod slides the door open... all the sudden this pidgeon jumps at Koda (later I found it has some eggs in the little tiny area in the wall), of course this was a horrible decision on the pidgeons part as Koda grabbed it, BRINGS IT BACK IT OUR ROOM, keep in mind Jarod and I are TERRIFIED of birds, I am throwing Jarod's backpack, my bathroom stuff, everything at Koda to get him to let go, he releases it and I tackle him to the bed while Jarod is screeching and chases it out... needless to say bird was near death and the we made the maintenance guy force it to jump off the balcony, and our room was covered in bird feathers but oddly enough had only 2 really small spots of blood. I helped the guy clean everything up and all is well now, but wow.. what to say about that huh?

I'm not surprised this happened, he was an angel on the car ride (we were on the road from 8AM CO time and got here at 11:20PM), something had to make today crazy!

I don't like pidgeons or crows or anything like that. They are just gross to me and freaky!

Uhh, Sara, I am a horrible person- the mom came back today.. all beat up.. I called the front desk to remove the bird and it's eggs to avoid more issues. Sad Well I think they destroyed the eggs as the bird came back one last time to look for them and I swear it stared at me like "you killed my babies!" And then I shoo'ed it off and covered the little opened where it was nesting.

This is not hot, you all are crazy!!

In the lobby of our hotel, I was asked how I like today's heat. I keep going, ARIZONA!!! If it's not 115, I'm good! Oddly this is Koda's ideal weather, he's been sunbathing on the patio Smile Can't wait to meet up tomorrow wooo!
