- Hmm, since we got him I'd say we have spent about...
Dog - $400 Food - $90 Vet - $50 (we are doing the wellness plan thru Banfield for his shots so we only pay $24/mo) Flea/Heartworm - $50 Treats and Toys - $75
So nearly $700 since the end of July. Spoiled puppy!!
And to think my two cats have had to go to the vet four times between the two of them in that timeframe as well. Oh I forgot about $30 on leash/collar, and $15 on dog bowl, and $120 on training, so more like around $850....I didn't even know I had that much money to spare! It was all over time, so that is probably why lol. So monthly its about $100 |

| Hopefully it gets cheaper after the first month.
We've only had Isis for 3 weeks, and we've spent ~$1,800... |

| Hmmm good question, but like others doubt I would want to know lol but I'll
The first six months with Balon:
Vet visits guess around $300 with all shots (not including him eating shipping bag which cost me an additonal 100 since VPI paid 200 or so of that) Neutering: $350 Food: first couple bags were $35, now $50 for wildnerness, per month to month and a 1/2 Toys: maybe $75 shared between two dogs Flea and HW treatments, about $18 each per month
Set up, bowls , collars, leashes: about $200.00
This is just for Balon, I also have the lab sigh, but I don't care love them to pieces, its why I have a part time job lol |

| I'd say that so far I've spent.... alot..lol, in the first 8 months Dog:500 Vet bills to date: Probably between 800-1000 Heartworm/Flea: 120 Collars/Harness/Leash: 45/20/20=85 Id tags/city tags: 75 Food: 300-400 Treats and bones: around 150-200 Toys: 200-300 Crate/bed: 110/20=130 Bowls/stake outs: 30/30=60 Miscellaneous: 50
So I've approximately spent in the 6 months I've had her... $2920 assuming I have the numbers correct and am not missing anything
I love her, only the best for my pup <3

| I calculate $1,000 per year just in basics (vaccinations, food, grooming, heartworm, flea/tick prevention). That does not include toys, treats, poop bags, cleaner, etc. I kept track of what I spend on Nikko from February until June and it was over 3,000! And that is for one dog.
I would guess I have spend about 5k on him so far, but not as much with the little one because he shares toys. That includes crates, toys, training classes, collars, leashes, etc.
My estimate would be after the first year I will spend a total of $2,500 per dog per year.
It's almost like having kids! |

| For all 3 of ours on average:
Food (Raw) - $180/month Flea & HW - $80/ month Treats & Toys - $90/ month (approx) Council Registration - $285/ year (for all 3) Total - $4500/ year Occasional things (vet consultation, Collars, Leash, misc. items, shampoo etc) are not included as they are not a regular purchase, but would on average maybe cost about $800+ per year (give or take)
Our woofers are practically our children, but with 4 legs and fur, so we spoil them a bit.
