| Not to make it worse, but yep, I'd be having a panic attack also! I'm sure Hawaii isn't just a few days. At least you have 2 years to figure it out though plus Dakota will be fine. I'm sure if the time comes around and you see that god forbid he's not doing too good you won't go anywhere. When you go camping how do you sleep at night without them running off? In the tent? I've never been camping. Not too popular in Miami and I've always wanted to go |

Are you planning on coming to Colorado to camp with all the husky moms? I know you might not be able to bring Koda and Mya, but there will be plenty of other huskies to love on. _________________ |

Not too popular in Miami and I've always wanted to go I haven't been camping since I got Willow but with Dakota, in his earlier years, I would put his crate in the tent and he would sleep right next to me. He doesn't need a crate now. Then I would hook him up to the tie out before I would unzip the tent door. Now with two dogs...camping will be harder. |

| Melissa, I'm sure you could read any of our hiking/camping threads and find out what its like!
S&J are getting better and will sleep on their blankets in the tent but I lock the zippers from the inside and keep their leashes on. Out side they get hooked to tie outs and 20ft cord. Just wait a few weeks and we will have more stories to share! _________________ |

| Melissa You might be surprised how well they do!!! Our tent is large so Skyla stays in the crate and Braiden sleeps on a blanket on the floor or with me on the cot (Ugh) They both love camping!!! They are very nosey and love looking at the other campers and their dogs. They do well on tie-outs in the camp area. We have so much fun camping with them, I can't imagine going without them. We are going to South Llano River State park this weekend. Can't wait!!! |

| I was in the process of packing a lil while ago and Kody laid inside of my tiny suitcase and just stared at me. Ahhhhh! He knows! =( |

| I know! Somehow he totally knows! Mya just walked in, looked at me packing, and went to lay in her spot...she hasn't moved since. Talk about guilt trip! |

| Aww! Ours are like that too! Makes it so much harder! Ours always come with us when we take a trip anywhere but boy you pull out a suitcase and the whole lot of them are on you like glue! No one wants to be left behind! _________________ |

| It completely amazes me the associations they make. I hardly ever go away, but when a suitcase comes out, Frankie starts pacing around the house like a madman. He also knows our bathing suits from other clothes. As soon as he sees my son put on a bathing suit, he darts for the back door and sits there waiting to go in the pool, lol. They are just too smart and I have learned there is no getting one over on him.
Have a great and guilt free trip. I'm sure your babies will be fine and very happy to see you when you come back. |

| I remember my last business trip a couple of months ago. JD sent me a text later that evening when I had gotten to my hotel room. He said, 'Ginger is STILL waiting at the door for you to come home.'
Broke my heart, but we were so excited to see each other when she and JD came to pick me up at the airport.

| They do associate A LOT of things! For exp, Mya sees my sneakers come out and she automatically thinks she's going on a walk. If I'm just going to the gym I have to hide in the closest or bathroom to put them on. She still knows there and cries at the door...lol. |

Awwww, I know the feeling! When I went to Dallas in August for a meeting ( I was only there a 1 1/2 days) Ivan said that Mya would stare at the door and then come look at him then go back to the door. Like she was asking him where I was. They're so smart! |

| Just catching up on all the posts after taking a 1 day trip to look for houses in the city we are moving to. It was the first time they were without me or my boyfriend! They stayed with my mom, and did fine, but I worried the entire time. I think my boyfriend got sick of me talking about them the entire trip. I called often to check on them, and left an almost hour by hour schedule for them. Luckily I convinced my mom to start feeding her dog raw about a year ago, so she did fine. She did have to call and ask about some of the supplements though! It was really strange not packing for the dogs when we left. Hope you are having a good time though! |

| awww glad that they did fine without you! I get back home tomorrow evening. The hubby says that they're doing fine, but that Mya really misses me. She's kinda grumpy and looks for me, but other than that they're fine. Can't wait to see my babies! I don't think Kody even knows that I'm gone..LOL!!! |

| After being dragged by my 2 across the park, hubby says I can't handle them by myself. Ummm, if he had to backpedal on wet grass, they wouldn't taken him down too!....Since I can't handle them, maybe I should go to Hawaii for 10 days and see if HE can handle them by himself for 10 days....
