| So I shouldn't be too concerned that my Stormy is 35lbs at 4 months? I always had girls so the boy stuff is new.....like trying to figure out when to get him unbroken |

| Here's Arkans growth chart; he will have just turned eight months a few days ago and is now at 62 lbs....
3/30?/11---17lbs 4/25/11----22lbs 5/30/11----33lbs 6/14/11----40lbs (around 4 months) 7/03/11----44lbs 7/09/11----47lbs 7/15/11----50lbs 7/30/11----53lbs 8/02/11----56lbs(6 months) 8/29/11----60lbs 9/25/11----61lbs
Its only dawned on my recently (somewhere between throwing my back out getting him in the tub and being yanked off my feet for the 20th time on our runs) that he's a monster. He grew like a weed for most of his life then finally humored me by slow down slightly around 6 months.
I know people say they's a trend for breeding them bigger, but really..... Is it a little strange that hes eight months old and already over the standard? I know they do slow down around six months but commonly continuing growing until 2.....so it seems like we can still expect some more weight. I dont mind if hes large at all but I've been reading all the posts on here and everywhere about weight and he just seems so big. He is not fat, we do several miles daily, he eats less then the recommendation on the Orijin bag and you can feel his ribs and see a very well-defined waist. I've never seen his parents so thats no help. Was anyone else's puppy this big? When did they stop? |

I actually have the opposite issue with Drogo;. he's approaching 6 months and isn't even 40 lbs yet. Well, he might be now. He was 39lbs when I weighed him one week ago. I'm somewhat concerned. Suzuki and Stormy are around 6 months and are probably 50 lbs - that sounds closer to what you're dealing with. Arkan has already breached the breed standard for Siberian Huskies which is 60 lbs for a male (at least I thought it was 60 lbs). Throw some of that growth this way! |

| Polar is so cute! I think we should make a "My husky is 6 months old and doesn't weigh 40 lbs yet" club and Polar and Drogo can be founding members. Rogue too, but she's a girl so she's expected to be smaller. XD |

| Embry didn't weigh over 35lbs until he was around 7 or 8 months. He was a chubby puppy, but stayed the same weight for a while.. |

| Kody is a year old and only weighs 48lbs. He's tall (all legs), but very lean. I don't think he's small though. Or is he? LOL!!! |

| Went through their vet work and came up with this
Embrys weight progress: 3 months@21lbs 5 months@35lbs 7 months@39lbs 9 months@51lbs 2 years@55lbs
Zoeys weight progress:
3 months@27lbs 4 months@36lbs 5 months@40lbs 9 months@49lbs 12 months@45lbs
Zoey was a freaking beast puppy, but now she's little again lol |

| I definitely think Rodeo is maybe just hitting 6 months. He looks Rogue's age or maybe 2 weeks older.
I except Rogue to hit 25lbs by like 6 1/2 months haha. And Mel, I think Kody will end up being like Koda- he's still a bit skinny isn't he? 5lbs more gained and being 53lbs I bet he'd be perfect! And Koda is the perfect size, I don't think he's small.

Yeah, he's skinny. Not sickly looking like he was before, but yes, can definitely afford another few lbs. Koda seems the perfect size to me also. Kody is taller than Mya, but she's just thicker. |

| Shiloh is now 11 months old and 42 pounds. I think she can put on a few more pounds, under all the fur she's skinny, hard to put weight on such an active little dog though!! |

| Polar is 20" at the shoulder and still on 29 pounds he seems tiny! Is he going to stay this big forever? 20" seems so tiny but the max is apparently 23.5"! |

| That 3 inches ends up being a big difference. He's only 6 months, he has another 6 or 8 months to reach his full potential of height. Each dog is going to grow at different rates. My girl is almost 6 months and hasn't even hit 20lbs but I know she will end up 40-45 pounds or heck, she could be more and have a random super growth spurt sometime soon. No one knows if he will be tiny, no dog grows the same and it's hard to compare anything due to that. |
