I have been through two harnesses now that both seem to have issues.

First this one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082FNZJH2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

Which actually fits OKAY. The issue is you have to put her head through the hole, and pull her head out of the hole, and she really hates all her neck fur having to be pulled out of the harness. She's started to protest it rather bad.

I've also found when she wears that one, she shakes a lot more, like when she shakes all the water off her. I don't think she likes the bigger panels of fabric it has pressing on her for whatever reason.

So then I got this one:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FTHYDYB?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

Thinking, its lighter weight, no fabric panels, her head doesn't have to go through any hole.

At first this one seemed not too bad, got her into okay. But I think it hurts her. To keep it from like bunching up on one side you have to tighten it so much that it worries. So, either it's like to loose flopping around her in weird ways that don't look uncomfortable, or it's too tight. I think this one was designed for shorter hair dogs.

Also getting her to step her feets into it and hold still is turning into quite the process.

So what's a good harness that doesn't require their head to go through a hole, or them to like step into it, and can fit well on a floofy husky?

that looks real similiar to the second one I got
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FTHYDYB?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

Looking at this pic of the other color.

the understrap goes right through their armpit, and the over strap doesn't go fully in front of their shoulder, which might be fine when walking, but when running it means the pressure from the straps is applied in odd positions

So the design on that second one is very easy to slip out of and it can interfere with the natural motion of the dog's shoulders. I would not recommend using anything with that sort of single-point top loading hammock design. The first ruffwear style of harness allows for a wider shoulder opening which is better for movement and comfort. There are harnesses similar to your first ruffwear harness that have dual clips. They can be a pain to put on but they do allow you to avoid sliding something over the dog's head. My youngest dog doesn't like having things slipped over his head either, but I mostly just make him get over it when he's in harness. Slipping it over his head is better than me fighting with his hair constantly getting closed in the clip and me trying to pull it out.

We have an older thread with links to biomechanics information and choosing a harness that doesn't harm the movements of your dog.
