2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.

Figured I'd begin a Sky scrapbook Smile Showing select photos from the day of her rescue (last October) to now. The last one  is from early April where she actually began to let me cuddle her more (and exemplary of her sass)... a turning point for us!

What a sweet girl. Thank you for rescuing. It's so fun to see what a rescue dog can become in the right hands.

Since so many Huskies have sky blue eyes, I thinks there's an (over? never) abundance of Huskies named Sky ... yep, I have one, too.

@polarpup21 Yeh, she's acting like a normal comfortable Husky in that last one ... we don't have a Raspberry meme but you get the idea?

Haha, yes! @aljones

It was national rescue dog day over the weekend and I'm so glad I got this kid, even with all the issues she's had. Since she's getting surgery soon I've been relaxing some of the play rules to let her live it up, so she got to have her first pool party and visited the dog park to see her best friends!

Whew it's been a minute!
Sky has been doing great now that she's recovered from two paw surgeries and her stomach is stable on one very pricey kibble. We also live in Delaware where there is less junk food on the streets.

Moving to DE allowed us to rent a house so I began fostering and I adopted a new rescue puppy this fall!

Sharing some photos of Sky and the new pup, Nami, who is 8 months now. They have the same pattern and color and Nami was abused as a baby so she lost an eye early on. She's an avid biter at the moment... A painful process we're working through!

Sky and Nami adore each other but my foster boy brought out a punishing defensiveness in Sky I've never seen before. She's attacked her friends and Nami in moments where her interested toy or treat was in question. She has definitely drawn blood from them. It's not often and I can predict most situations but I think it's a situation of no return. I can't ever fully trust her with other dogs around food or toys again.

Here are my babies!
