Oh i'm SOOOOOOOO EXCITED! My 2 gave me a bike for Mother's Day!!! Now all I need is the walky dog! Hubby wasn't able to order it before today...I mean Mya and Kody weren't able to order it! At least the bike that Mya "picked" is here! Kody was against all of the PINK, but Mya won the argument..LOL!

Awww lovin in the best gift ever!!! =) You know what though? Little issue with the bike. I'm like really short (5'1) and lowering the seat on the bike all the way down....I reach the floor on my tippy toes. Which is fine for just me, but with the walky dog I think I would need to be able to put my feet flat on the ground. Problem is that with the seat totally lowered there's no space for the attachment!

Oh no! Maybe exchange the bike for a shorter one? That's a good thing to keep in mind now that you mention it. I've been wanting to get a Springer bike attachment for my bike, I may need to check to make sure it will have enough room on my bike before ordering...if I ever do. _________________

We took Ginger and Storm out with our bikes last night. I had Storm on the kick scooter, and JD had Ginger on the walky dog. We switched coming back, and it's been a while since I rode a bike. Not that I forgot, but I'm used to my kick scooter that I yelled up to JD, 'What the hell kind of kick scooter is this?! It has pedals and a seat for crying out loud!!' Since JD has a cruiser bike that sits low for him, I could stand flat foot on the bike, which totally gives you a sense of security if you need to just 'stop and plant' both feed on the ground. I hope you can exchange it for a smaller bike! I have to say, I feel a lot better on my kick scooter. I can jump off and grab the gangline pretty quick if I have to stop and hold on to prevent them from taking off. _________________

Beth "claims" to be 5'2" and also found the 26" bikes to tall, take it back and exchange it for the 24" model. I think that'll do the trick for you. |
