When I got a dog it was with the hope that if the dog was well behaved enough and seemed to enjoy it, I could bring him into the office as my workplace allows very well behaved dogs in offices.

Being a puppy (6 months now) Duck has been a bundle of energy, bouncing, and mouthing. I was not particularly optimistic about our office prospects. However, I took him to the dog park briefly, to the groomers, and to a busy Christmas gathering in the last couple of days. Today he is the least bouncy and mouthy he has ever been - also, he is napping more. It seems that what he has been missing is being out and about around people even more than usual.

Is this a husky thing or is he just tired?

I guess it depends on what you mean by workplace. Squirt spent the first 2 years of her life at the Albuquerque va hospital. She loved all the attention especially when i took her to the psych ward and the inpatient ward. She is ok with wheel chairs prosthetics and other medical devices and from living on the air force she is actually bomb proof. It was someones workplace just not mine. Spider tho freaks out at new places. So i guess i have 2 polar opposite dogs. Duck is half lab so it may actually be easier. Some dogs are more outgoing then others.

A tired husky is a good husky. The more you do, the more tired they will be. As for the workplace, I suggest you look into getting your CGC (Canine Good Citizen) certification. It's a form of obedience certification that goes above and beyond and is geared toward having dogs in workplaces and schools. If you get that then you and your dog will be prepped to handle what could be asked of you in many settings. It will also look good for your employer in case they ever have to crack down on dogs for liability reasons.
