| I officially take too many photos / have too hectic of a schedule to keep up with a 52 week. Loki is 4.5 months old now? Almost? Somewhere around there Officially all Vacs are done and the waiting period is over! Ownership and Microchip is in my name and I finally got around to getting his first dog tag with his name on it He has made leaps and bounds with socialising, hoping now that we can go to more dog friendly areas he will be able to have a good play with some puppies his age. He still comes everywhere with me, has this 4WD thing down, sleeps the trip away no matter how bumpy it gets. He has sit / drop / leave it pretty well down. Working on cementing the basic commands before he “forgets” everything in a months time . Anyways, some photos of our latest adventures below. I will forever be cranky I only had the phone camera for this. One of my favourite photo's of him. (Worth clicking and seeing a larger size) Time out after a bit too much excitement at the river. Good view, relaxed atmosphere and this puppy. Holidays don't get much better than this. Found something that intimidates him, waves! Up to that point he has been fearless. In his defence, it was a pretty rough day. This lake is notorious for getting choppy. Still was able to fish out the biggest stick he could before hurrying back to me. |

Thank you Used to have such a passion for photography, thank goodness for phone camera's. I picked this one up as it was the only adjustable one I could find. He is growing like a weed I almost need to let it out every week. I am way more impressed with it than I thought I would be!. Held up to our adventures and rough play with ease. - Mersea Lopez wrote:

My Favourite too! He is starting to (finally) grown into those ears ( believe it or not ) Hoping some of those markings stay as he ages! He has learnt to dig! ... enjoying the cuteness while it lasts and how to swim, too busy stalking water bugs to realise that the land had disappeared. As quiet and silent as a croc Few weeks ago now, can't believe how much bigger he looks today. |

| Ha, and here I am hating my phone camera, lol. But that's because it sucks (my iPhone is old)
If it's the same harness as mine, I've been impressed with it too, considering the price. With Mishka, it has held up to some serious tugs when she sees bunnies running from her, lol.
As always, really beautiful pictures. He is starting to look slightly bigger, but I'm seeing more maturing in his face mostly. Definitely still a puppy, but he's growing up! The hole digging pic is too cute. |

| I miss the Nikon but there is no way I would be able to photograph a bouncing puppy with a camera. The phone makes those quick snaps much easier. I think ours is Animates, I didn’t even know they did dog stuff. Had always known them as an aquarium brand. Can’t complain though! Absolutely! I don’t realise just how much until I look back over photos from even a month ago. This dog is determined to give me a heart attack. A good pet insurance is going to be in order. I can tell he is going to be expensive. Long story short because I don’t want to think about it ( I’ll have that memory on replay in my nightmares for ages) he ran at full speed into a metal pole head first at the dog park.... Thankfully bar a blood nose he is no worse off. Minus a few (much needed) brain cells Today, after giving him a day of rest (...lol) to recover. We went for a swim at 9am to beat the heat. What does he do? Tries to roll in the water. Because. You know. Not being able to breathe under water isn’t a given That look of instant regret And of course, camera always at the ready In slow mo. |

| What great pics! Such a happy dog! His joie de vivre remind me so much of my son's dog, Archer...and, as for the klutziness...that would be Z'ev And he is 7 so not something necessarily outgrown. Neither, I suspect, is the hole-digging. That picture with head in hole? Something I see just about weekly with my 5 yr old, Ami. Enjoy your puppy for years and years to come - already looks like the two of you are a perfect match! |

| Love those pics, lol. My two dint want anything to do with going IN to the water, but man do they love to get wet, via sprinklers or whatever else sprays water, haha. Loki is just such a fun loving little boy, he's going to be even more of a blast as he gets older |

Thank you I am so glad it is summer and I have all these amazing photos to remember his puppy moments by. Haha, oh I had a feeling he was never going to outgrow this personality. That is his head He will dig a hole big enough to bury himself in in seconds. He seems to only think he can dig in sand for now. I am not in any hurry to show him otherwise - Artic_Wind wrote:

I am so glad and thankful he is a water dog. I am not a huge fan of getting in myself unless I can see the bottom (some spiders can live in water ) but I spend so much time by the water that it wouldn't seem complete without a daily splash. Thanks RedFlashFire05 and Mersea Lopez. Growing up! This is why half of his Christmas presents are in hiding still. Between these toys, the toys we have in the car for swimming and the ones at my parents place he is spoilt rotten |

Thank you both He is a little rascal. Growing so quickly! He hit the teenage years, early. I had one unbearable week. At my wits end with him. I knew it was coming, I just wasn't prepared. Along with horses back in work and the busiest time of year at work. His behaviour was centred around nipping, demanding attention. Pulling on the lead. The usual stuff that I see everyone struggling with. I chastised myself for being a bit too lax with him in the past. Cracked down on a few things and we are back on talking terms (literally most days) I have to say getting almost on top of the bitting has made life so much nicer. So much! Ready for the next wave to come through. He got bitten by his first bee this weekend. Thankfully he had no reaction bar the usual melodramatics. He looked so sad sitting there holding his foot up that I relented and carried him up the three flights of stairs and into his bed. Only to have him grab a toy and run over demanding it be thrown That now makes three nights in three months that I have woken up periodically to make sure he was still ok. Ran head first into a pole with a never ending blood nose, threw himself down a cliff and now a bee sting. My heart can only take so much Every day I find a new tooth when cleaning. He likes to leave them on my pillow in the mornings. If only the tooth fair still came! He doesn't have many puppy teeth left and lots of adults ones coming through. I am so lucky he is such a super chilled dog, from 4wd, horses, swimming, going out into the city, going away for weekends. He just takes it all in his stride. This is how I like to holiday, thankfully he was happy to indulge me A bone we found on our walk, high 30s one day, freezing the next. He still dives into the water to clean off the bone. His first victim. I leave stuff around, from day one I have been very very strict on what can be chewed and what can not ( I know, I know ) he has hardly ever ripped into any of his beds or toys. . I am sure this is a sign of things to come I knew it was too quiet for too long. |

| You take the best pictures. I look forward to your updates, not only to see Loki growing but just cuz your pics are awesome! he really is growing! He's so beautiful too, love that second pic (love them ALL, but that second pic tells a story, I love it) *some* of his behavior changes *may* be attributed to his teething, don't be too disappointed in him, he's just a growing husky Last pic made me smile. Fortunately the worst my two did was tear up my Ugg boots, and one of them was already started on by my previous Husky, Malukhai. You just can't be mad at them when they lay in all their destruction with a look on their face like they're expecting you to be proud of them for it!, LOLOL |

| I could have sworn I responded to everyone! I’m sorry crazy month! Thanks for the kind words, I love photography and am so excited to be able to get back into it again. Even just for fun with my phone. We do have a pretty active life style. Thankfully as he is a little bundle of energy (no surprise there!) His teething is mostly over. All adults teeth broke through awhile ago. Just teenage blues now I think! Hehe, he hasn’t destroyed anything else since. I’m sure something will fall victim to him soon. As I said crazy month. As he ages he sits still less so finding enthusiasm to make him pose has been hard. Just looking back I can see how much he has changed! Even in just a month. My goodness he was little! This weekend gone, enjoying what is left of summer. He is the biggest water bug I have met. Will pull me over and chew through anything just to get to water. |

| Oh my goodness, your pics are so amazing!!! Every single one of them! He really has totally grown! Still see the puppy though he's adorable!!! Except for Christmas pics, I don't bother even trying to pose my two, and even then, it's the not posed pics I end up liking, it's the more natural pics that I love. .. so I'd just keep going with the "natural" pics, you can't deny those expressions in his pics are pure joy |

| Thank you! I really love that top photo so it’s nice to have others appreciate it too His personality is shinning through and he never fails to make me laugh! Haha that’s very true! He knows to be still when you point at him and say “chill” so he has that going for him. Would much rather be enjoying going on adventures than spending hours getting the perfect photo anyways |

| Top pic is a favorite for me, along with the pic with the horse. I have a pic of Kohdi seeing his first horse (he was mesmerized, lol) but it didn't occur to me to get the horse in the pic! Mishka has yet to see a horse. |

| Thanks guys. Thousands of photos down and the water one is still my favourite. With summer over and the shorter days on us we have had to shift our schedule. Forcing me to become a morning person. Loki thinks the 5:45am starts are awesome!!!! He is starting to mature a bit and I’m starting to see the nice gentle calm dog that he may become in four or five years times. Another trip to the vet... averaging once a month at this rate. Raging eye infection. Was monitoring him closely as we suspected he picked up a corner of dog bait (people trying to poison dogs at parks and over fences ) noticed his eye looked a tad red. He stopped eating (not unusual) and slept for almost 24 hours straight. By the time he woke up he could hardly open his eye. Took the whole weeks worth of medicine to improve. So far so good. His play bitting is still terrible. But I’m mostly to blame for that one. Just lack of consistency. It is slowly improving so I’m optimistic. Walking is a nightmare still. He is great until excited. Actually all round excitement is our number one problem. He is always out and about. Has always come everywhere with me since day one. Meeting new people in new environments every other day.... makes no difference once he is excited however. All training goes out the window and he is a squirming loud pulling mess. But! We are getting there. I know it’s not unusual and I can completely understand. I have to keep reminding myself he is still a puppy with puppy reactions. Not much on the photo front, with two horses. Busy work leaves no daylight left for photos. One of the last sunset photos I’ll probably get for awhile. I miss summer already And so begins the sunrise photos... did I mention I’m not a morning person? :p But I guess if I have to get up atleast it’s pretty. Just a cute photo. Emotional blackmail in its greatest form. Pulls this exact pose whenever he thinks I’m leaving for work First time learning a new trick. Haven’t got it down yet. Watch this space |

| I'm in love with these photos!! The last one is phenomenal!! I think I read before you're a Nikon person, what camera do you use? I just recently got myself a Nikon D750(Wanted the D850 but wasn't able to spare the extra money) and I'm still learning the ropes of full manual stuff. If you want to check out some of my stuff just look for 52 Weeks of Tetra and I have some there I know it's not as early as you, but my little one decided that around 7-8 is a good time to get up every morning and I'm not a morning person either |
