This is Teelah This is Anguirus This is Dee I have some fish too, but am not a very talented fish photographer! Luka and Kitty are really good with all the reptiles. I don't think they even notice them most of the time! |

| If I show these pics to my hubby he will want to come live with you. What kind of lizards are they? Please tell us what kind of aquarium set up you have and what you are stocking! I love aquariums and have been an enthusiast pretty much my entire life. _________________ |

| None of them share tanks. We have a large bedroom that is our "reptile room" where most of them are kept. We do keep two of the lizards and the fish out in the living room. They do take up a lot of space. Most live in 40 gallon breeders. A few in 55 gallon tanks. One custom made thats probably over 100 gallons. Yes, lots of cleaning!
I have two aquatic tanks. One with my really old goldfish and a betta. I've had the goldfish since 7th grade! He just has a basic set up, with an oversized marineland filter to keep the tank clean. The other tank is at my office. I have a 14gal bio cube. It houses a purple lobster, some catalina gobies, snails, a long tentical anemone, and live rock.
Nibbles, Falkor, and Teelah are bearded dragons. Anguirus is a Rankins dragon. They are closely related to beardies, they just don't get as big. He is only about 7 or 8 inches long. Frank is a frilled dragon. Xizor is a basilisk lizard, the kind that can run on water. Dee is a Nelsons milk snake. |

| WOW, you've got a little bit of everything almost. My goodness, those tanks do take up a ton of room! My hubby has wanted a bearded dragon for some time. The wife says You've got me drooling for pics of your nano. Just one picture? Pretty please? I want so badly to start another nano reef, I have to live vicariously through others in the meantime. _________________ |

| Beardies are great, they are so layed back. They are pretty easy to care for too. Here is a pic of the tank, and one of the lobster. |

| We were considering a bearded dragon among others not too long ago, but then I think I read how much veggies they require when they are growing and that put me off a bit. I already spend a hefty amount on fresh veggies for my guinea pigs. Hey! You were holding out on us. I see a lot more stock in your nano than you previously mentioned! Are those a leather coral, candy cane coral, and zoanthids I see? What's the little thing in the front, bottom left that I see? It's not a little xenia frag is it? What lighting to do you have in your nano? Btw, are you on Reef Central? We have another member here that is also into reefing (SaraB) and she's on RC as well. Your tank is gorgeous and is making me so jealous. I had to sell my nano and all it's inhabitants in 2007 when I moved across the country...been moving around ever since. But now we're finally settled in a place we plan to stick around for at least several years so I'm hoping I can start up another nano reef within the next year...along with a FW community tank too. _________________ |

| Guinea pigs are silly. I love how they pop-corn when they are happy! Thats what the tank USE to look like. Now I'm down to just a few critters. Yes, it use to have an awsome leather coral, candy coral, and assorted zoanthids. I think the other thing was a xenia frag I got from a friend. It didn't last long sadly. Lighting is just the standard 50/50. I have a really nice coarlife light fixture that I sometimes would place over top of the aquarium instead, just to provide the tank with better light. I'm actually in the process of taking down my tank, so most of what I had has gone to friends or I've donated to a co-worker who has two tanks in her classroom. I will probably be moving out of state in August, so I've just slowly started taking the tank apart. Moving with all my other animals is going to suck, but it would be really hard on the fish and inverts. I'm hoping that I can start a new tank after I move. Not on any reef forums. Maybe when I get a new tank running. I'm sad to lose what I have, but I love setting up new tanks. |

| I know the feeling, it is hard letting go of all your inhabitants, but it is so much fun starting up a new tank with a clean slate...just insanely expensive and time consuming is all. lol I sold off everything I had except my mated False Percula clown pair. I just couldn't part with them and they flew from FL to WA as cargo on the plane with me. Then when we had to move from WA to FL again my clown pair made the 8 day car trip driving across the country, over 3000 miles. My clownfish are seasoned travelers as they also endured the move from FL to SC when we moved last September. My clowns are 9 years old now and amazingly hardy little guys. I've been out of reefing for a good 4 years now so I have a feeling a LOT has changed and I will have to re-learn quite a bit. LEDs were just becoming popular when I got of out reefing, I have no idea what lighting recs there are now. I ran 4 PCs on my 20L nano but that limited me to softies and LPS, I have no idea what I want to do when I start up a new one. All I know is it will be costly and will require lots of research. Funny how that doesn't even phase me one bit. _________________ |
