So our Nut has separation anxiety while we're at work. She shows it in different ways. We've gotten her into a routine, and Rescue Remedy (4 drops on a dog biscuit/treat) makes a night and day difference in the dog we find in her crate when we get home. Without it, she screams when we open the front door and digs at the sides of her crate. We can hear her from outside the house when we get out of our car! With RR, there's not a peep when we pull up and get out of the car. We walk in the front door and she stands up, yawns, and stretches. She still whines a little, but it's not Frantic Insane Dog Scratching at the top corner of her crate, screaming. Truly a night and day difference. And while she's a great traveling dog in our car or truck, give her RR on a treat and she's happily konked out in the backseat. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't always knock her out and she doesn't act "drugged" at all. She's still happy, responsive, and sometimes still hyper. It just noticeably takes the edge off.

I love this product! My dogs always freak out in the crate the first few days we visit our cabin every year. We could hear them on the lake when we were fishing! Like you said, with rescue remedy, not a peep! Only Natural Pet Store has this product too!

Never needed it for my own dogs but have recommended Rescue Remedy to soooo many people over the years. Doesn't work for every dog but I hear nothing but wonderful things from the people whose dogs it does work on! Glad to hear of more success stories. I do hear occasionally of dogs who end up in a stupor or drunken-like (not actually drunk) state on RR though so that is something to keep in mind for others who might be considering it. All in all, I think the pros outweigh the cons at the end of the day. I'm so happy Nutmeg is showing noticeable improvement without the need for prescription medication! _________________

I almost bought RR the other day, but got Happy Traveler instead. Maybe I'll go get some RR too. Siku whines a lot when we go somewhere in the car. I think she gets anxious about where we're going, cause she hardly ever cries on the way back. And I don't want her making a fuss all the way out to WY this year! We experimented with the Happy Traveler and it did seem to calm her down some, hardly a peep from her. But it did make her not want to run around and play as much, so I guess it kind of gave her the drunken-like state a little. _________________ -Sara

I'm glad to hear that you had success with it! I bought it at Whole Foods awhile ago. Unfortunately I didn't have as much luck with it.
