Hi all,

My pup is almost 7 months old and has an issue with barking and yelping for attention the second someone stops petting/paying attention to him. I've had several people recommend the Sonic Egg by Sunbeam to stop this.

Has anyone has experience with using this? If so, what are your thoughts?

I haven't used this so can't say much on it exactly, but I know whining is often not picked up by these things so if your pup whines a lot but doesn't do the full bark then it may not benefit you. Might start with a cheap citronella bark collar and go from there if you haven't tried those already.

Thanks for your reply! I was thinking about getting the handheld egg where you press a button if they start to bark. I've tried using a spray bottle with water and vinegar but that hasn't seemed to help much either, so I might have to try the bark collar.

I used it in the past with my oldest Husky, the big one didn't work but then we returned it and got the handheld one and we had a lot of success with it.
