| Hello everyone! It's been awhile since I have been on here, so I thought I would pop in and say hello. A lot has changed over the last few years. I got a really great new job working for the Federal Government. I am getting some much needed repairs done in my house, new floors, etc. And the pack is doing very well. I can't believe that Nikko is going to be 7 years old this year....time just flies by! I came on this site when he was a puppy destroying everything and making me crazy. At least that hasn't changed LOL. My little one Yukon turned 6 this year, and we are still dealing with his epilepsy but *knock on wood*, that is going much better. He was maxed out on medications and we were going to get an MRI done, but that costs were out of reach and honestly anything I would find from that would not change my course of treatment. However, this year we switched him to this new food called Neurocare, and also added CBD oil to his regimen. He gets the oil on his food and we also give him CDB biscuit treats. He has gone from having clusters every few weeks, to having just one every week or so, to now, where he is having one mild one about once a month. So his seizures are less frequent and much less severe. OH, and he has finally gotten over his car sickness! And my rescue boy Kodiak is about the best dog you could ask for. He always reminds you when its time to eat, or time for walks or car rides. He is the alpha of the pack and keeps everyone line! And we got an official Husky Mobile! I got a new car so I didnt want to deal with the fur everywhere, so they now have their very own vehicle! Anyway, hope everyone is doing well! |

| Last pic is awesome, your dogs are seriously pretty. Great shot of them together. And congrats on your new job! It was just recently i thought of you, and another member here who's Husky started having seizures. I hoped everything was ok with you both, and am really glad to hear Yukon has made a turn around with his seizures! That is awesome! Positives thoughts for you guys that it stays that way. I hope Erica's pup is doing just as well. Welcome back! |
