Good Afternoon All,

We are looking for a reputable breeder in the Northern Ga region. Willing to drive to visit kennel, important. As a previous Husky owner word of mouth, past experience is important in finding the right breeder. The internet has way too much info. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you haven't, you might want to take a look at the SHCA beeder referrals, there are three in GA.

I know nothing of them - good or bad - just possibly a place to start.

Adding to this.
I dropped a note to Bahari Kennels who responded that they don't have any puppies on the ground at the moment but MUSH Rescue in Atlanta has a litter of 9 puppies around 7-9wks old. They were owner surrounded w both parents. The mom is a mix of Siberian / Maybe dobe?

Maybe not what you're looking for, but rescues make great dogs, too!

I do rescues so I naturally tend to point people that way but I understand wanting a purebred.

I'm going to agree with you about "TMI on the web" and the biggest problem that I see is a good 90% (my estimate) of the web sites that advertise "Husky Puppies" are puppy mills or worse.  There are exceptions Karnovanda Kennels in Michigan has a beautiful informative website but it's more about what they do with their dogs than any attempt to "Sell" them.

Of Bahari Kennels I have had only a quick email exchange with them and the only places I've found them on the web are when they're showing or where one of their dogs is the sire or dam of a dog in a show.  See this link for example take a look at this PDF from the Greeneville Kennel Club and you'll see Bahari mentioned at the bottom of the second page.

Personally, I like that they are doing (in their case showing) but not having to blast it all over the web in order to sell puppies.  I think that this will be the case with many of the better kennels.
