Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| This is a fun topic! Pics should be really funny/cute. My dogs aren't "tricks" dogs, haha, but I have plenty of pics of Kohdi telling me he is NOT going to do something I ask of him |

| I always wanted to teach the hold a treat on the nose trick but mine have zero patience at all when it comes to food. This seems like a good starting place. I think kenzi could do it. Doubt my other two could though. _________________ |

| I love the treat on the nose trick! Lycus can do it pretty well, but he doesn't know how to catch it off his nose after that. I usually have to remove it myself because he just freezes with anything on his face/head lol |

| I'm trying to build her up to do the treat on the nose thing! She can't even catch a treat we toss to her in the air, but I'm hoping this will work out |

| I think this needed a cut-off date posted for submissions. We are past the day it would normally close and go up for voting and only 2 pics have been submitted.
If anyone has a pic of their pup giving the handshake, or bringing back a ball/toy, or eating from a spoon, etc. and would like to enter, please do so...soon, this needs to go up for voting. HOTM is a great thing IAHT has been doing for years now. First place winner gets their pup featured on the main page and on the calendar, second and third place winners are featured on the calendar. Calendars are available at the end of the year with the proceeds being donated to a Husky Rescue. |

| I would submit something but Lycus was in the top 3 last month. Hopefully someone else will put in some photos! |

| Ya'know, one of the major complaints that I heard when I was running HOTM was "Why should I submit a picture? It's always the same old group who wins!" I quit running it when, among other things, I got real tired of listening to the same old complaints ... okay folks you all got your wish, the top three have to set out the following month - so what's your reason for not submitting a picture now???

| Okay, we've got three entries. I'll open voting in the morning in case someone comes up with something tonight. It doesn't have to be a hard topic. Many things will work. I didn't post a close date because frankly hotm has been the last thing on my mind these last couple weeks. _________________ |
