Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. | Hi Ppl,
My family and I have a female Siberian husky who is just over 6 months old and is called Yuki. She lives in the kitchen, where we have a pen for to sleep in at night and any other time she feels like having a rest, but I am looking forward to having her in a run outside as she is quite a handful.
That’s all I’ve got time to write for now.

| Welcome to the forum! We would love to hear more and see some pictures when you have more time. At 6 months you are getting closer to the teenage phase where all training seems to go out the window and they have really taken to their legs so require a ton of exercise to keep them and you sane. Good luck. _________________ |

| Thanks for the welcome. I did write a reply, then tried to attach a photo, but lost the post in the effort.
Yuki is definitely a challenge and has changed our lives, especially mine - I get even less done in a day than I used to. She loves to get out and unfortunately she sometimes uses destructive means to get out, eg chewing lumps out of people’s clothes.
More next time!

| Huskies take all your time, but they can whip you into really good shape with all the walking and sight seeing you have to do to save your sanity from their boredom. _________________ |

| You're right there. It feels like I am doing most of the work, especially the walking, although other family members do take a turn at it.
Problems I have are: Zooming, pulling on the leash, not coming away from something when told to, jumping up on people, counters, chairs, etc., chewing on clothes and people's hands, etc.
She's quite good some of the time and stubborn the rest - typical husky I guess.
I posted on this thread a couple of days ago, but the post didn't show and I've been wondering if that was typical with newbies' posts.
Another question I have is to do with uploading photos. I tried, unsuccessfully, to upload a photo of Yuki. Just after that, I received an email from Servimg, informing me that my account had been opened. I have no idea who or what Servimg is, but wondered if that had any connection with my photo uploading problem.
