Hello fellow husky owners

My name is Pascal, and i have a lovely female husky named sky. (4 months old atm)
I have had a couple of dogs throughout my life, and worked as a volluntair to temporarly house resqued dogs from the streets in greece and spain.
This husky however is my first husky!
So together we learn alot every new day
i do notice that she can be quite stubborn, (as expected) so the training seems to take a bit more then with the average dog.
i am a pretty patient guy thankfully haha.
and i found a tip on some other forum about only feeding my dog outside as rewards during the training walks on the leash ect.
this works pretty good and we are both finding our way with these methods.
she is only with me for 3 weeks now and is potty trained, and on the leash its eehh, lets say it depends on how bad she wants her dogfood at the moment haha.
Also we are trying to find out how long we can walk each day for her to be satisfied with the exercise for now.

but overall i like her alot, she is challenging me in alot of ways, and i always like a challenge

well thats some info about us, ill be lurking around the forum a bit for some helpfull info, and perhaps post something here and there

We usually go by the rule of 5 minutes of walking per month of age at a time. So at 4 months she could do 20 minutes of walking at a time, but you could do this multiple times a day. Puppies seem like they can go forever and can walk for hours it can feel like, but for their safety to protect growing joints doing short jaunts more often is best, especially if you are walking on sidewalks or hard surfaces that are more jarring. Open play, like fetch and bounding around the backyard where they can set their own pace is as much as they want.
