Does anybody have a suggestion for a water bowl or dish that a husky can't tip over?
This would be for an outside kennel when I am gone.

I tried a plastic bucket, which Bodhi ate.
Then I bought a metal bowl.
He flips it and plays hockey with it all around his kennel.
The when I bring him inside, he rushes to his water dish and drinks it dry.

It is still cold here now, but I don't want to leave him without water when it gets hot.

I'm thinking maybe a metal feeding trough for horses?

Somewhere I read that you can use a stake through the middle of a Bundt pan. I think with a husky I would use a screw into the ground tie-out stake. The head should be large enough to not go through the pan's hole.

Did I read this on this forum? If so I stole someone else's idea... Embarassed

THAT is a GREAT idea!
I gotta remember that one...I have a bundt pan that I don't really use! And to think...I was going to donate it to the thrift store!

You may try fixing the metal bowl to the floor so that they won't play hockey with it. There are also hanging water dispensers for dogs that can be installed on walls.
