What are some good/fairly cheap options to use as treats, but offer health benefits? Anything specific to huskies is good, so my two year old male husky has tummy issues and every once in a while will get a couple days worth of diarrhea or a day of two of vomiting for no apparent reason. We have taken him to the vet when this was happening twice and they have found no issues.

We recently started giving him pumpkin a couple times a week as well.

Here's are some options I rotate through:

• freeze dried liver - great for training and causal treat giving, easy to break apart
  
• Dehydrated beef lung - fun alternative to liver
  
• Frozen raw lake smelt - Doesn't have a strong fishy smell and is rich in Omega 3s
  
• Raw bones (i.e. frozen skinless duck necks) - excellent for dental hygiene if given 2-3 times a week as a meal replacement
  
• Biscuits - I only give one after each walk - I use a brand called "Slobbers" made out of Organic Buckwheat Flour, Organic Apples, Organic Carrots, Organic Peanut Butter, Organic Coconut Flour, Organic Blueberries, Baking Soda (Aluminum-Free), Mixed Tocopherols (Natural Preservative)
  

My husky has a super sensitive stomach too and these have always passed the test.  Everything in moderation of course.  No more than 2 or 3 pieces daily.

Try freezing plain no additive Greek yogurt in ice cube trays or kifer. Does well for dogs with questionable stomacks. Blueberries do well too. Both very healthy.
