Hairy Houdini Husky Rescue is a 501c3 rescue operating in the north central US.
As with all Husky oriented rescues, they're over worked and understaffed but in January of this year they rescued 15 dogs - at one time - who had been abandoned on the roadside! They have my appreciation for a job well done - that must have stressed their organization.
From a quick wander around their web site, it looks like they have plenty of options for how their members can assist in their operation and I found their "Virtual Husky Village" a particularly novel approach.
Let's welcome them as our first ROTM!
