| Ewwww! Good luck to you. I don't do composting (too gross for my blood) and I definitely don't do worms! _________________ |

| You need to add a molded snake head to that tree stump with the root running along side the house it could look like a boa constrictor. |

- you planted a lot of bare root stuff though, right? my bare root hostas are struggling..i only see two that are doing very well. four i can't see yet and two im hoping made it through the couple of frosts we had
Yes, I did a lot of bareroot and bulbs. And we had frost on the ground not even a week ago. Some stuff is growing well, others are showing no signs of existence. My bareroot hostas are struggling due to the damage that the caterpillars did. I need to snap a few update pics and update my thread with the progress. _________________ |

| corkscrew willow i planted in the backyard for a shade tree and eventually privacy from the neighbors: my weeping cherry out front is in full leaf: also a before picture of it to show how much greener my yard is now that spring is here. its so much nicer, haha i cleaned up and mulched the other front bed: any ideas as to what i should put in the bare empty spot? i'm not sure what that stick growing in the back is so i'm going to let it go and see what it is and if i dont like it i'll take it out |

| One of our local nurseries was selling some of those bushes / plants with the droopy white flowers. They also had some mature plants in their own landscaping. I liked the look of them, but wondered what they will look like for the rest of the summer. I didn't even take note of the name. Yours looks nice and you'll have to show us another pic later in the season.

| You're lucky, I planted a bunch of Lily of the Valley bare roots and only two of them are making very slow progress. The rest are not showing any signs of life at all. Do you know how long to wait on planted bare roots to show signs of life before throwing in the towel and taking them back to the store? _________________ |

| If you have a few good-sized plants from all the bare root plants you planted, I would surmise that the ones not coming up did not make it.
Looking good, Shannon! I saw a big, purple clematis bloom while walking today and wondered if yours has bloomed yet! |

Thank you Lisa, that's what I was suspecting but didn't want to dig them back up prematurely. Going to make some returns for sure then next week. _________________ |
