| Hey guys,
I have a Siberian Husky puppy just over 5 months old and I have had her on Blue Buffalo Puppy Life Protection since I got her around 2 months old. Her poop is constantly soft and sometimes runny and I was wondering if y'all think that is a problem and if I should change her food. She does not seem to be a picky eater but I don't think she loves the food she's on. Also, she eats a LOT of food, which I am cutting her down on but how many cups do y'all think she should be on? The food she's on says around 1 1/2-2 3/4 cups a day but is that different for Huskies? I wanted to try Blue Wilderness as they have a salmon recipe higher in protein (around 34%) and I know another husky owner that says it's a good food. However, they don't have a puppy salmon recipe. I have also read from a lot of people that they use Taste of the Wilderness. Which one would y'all recommend? There is also another food I have heard of called Solid Gold Barking At The Moon that has 41% protein and an all life stages formula but obviously a lot more expensive.
Also, I was wondering what y'all think about walking/running her. She is around 40 lbs and at 5 months old. I have a walker come once a week when I can't get out of work but take her myself the rest of the week. What is the max amount of time I should walk her. I am in North Carolina so it is extremely hot at the moment. And, when can I start running her? I have heard 6 months but I have also heard 1 year.
Thanks and I hope you guys can give me some advice!

| Have you had her poop checked by a vet to rule out bacteria, worms etc? |

| 5 minutes of walking per month of age per walk. At 4 months old go for 20 minute walks. You can go on multiple walks though. Unlimited running and walking while in loose play at the park or back yard. No structured running until a year old. That is when the majority of joint growth is done. _________________ |

| As food, if she isn't overweight, you're doing okay, though the soft poop does make me think she's either eating too much or, eating the wrong food or, getting too many treats or table scraps. |

We don't feed her table food and I only give her treats in "training sessions". I have cut down on her food but she always seems to be hungry even before I cut own. |

She had a feca test a couple months ago but she has was on this food before the test and it still looked like that. She was also dewormed as a puppy and tested afterwards to make sure they were all gone and tested clean. |

Thanks! I had heard of that rule but refused to believe it as I was under the impression of 25 minutes a day for a 5 month old puppy, not that I could do multiple walks but that sounds right. She definitely has too much energy to only get 25 minutes a day |
