The maker of the Baskerville Utra Muzzel. That the persnickety peanut somehow wriggled of his nose and ate the middle. The Company of Animals graciously offered to replace the muzzle for me and not only sent me a new muzzle but also a Halti All-in-One lead.

Many of you know that I often recommend the Rok Leash for using with prong to absorb any shock from dogs that like to unexpectedly pounce on critters - easier on the shoulder and easier on the dog's neck. My complaint with the Rok leash has been that it is too short - only 54" and the handle was big, clunky and not easy to wrap around a hand. Well, this leash also has a bungie section but is 6' long, the handle is soft and flexible as well as having a side release buckle to convert to hands free. It may not be quite as durable as the Rok which is quite heavy duty but is much lighter to use. It also has reflective tape running through the webbing. So far, I'm impressed:

They also sent a can of Pet Corrector, a pressurized can of compressed air. It may just be a game changer with the persnickety one - we walked with Wayne and Ami yesterday and when little guy started to stalk Ami, then growl - a good squirt and he stopped immediately with a decided "WTF" look on his face. A couple more blasts and he became more interested in the walk than in Ami (we won't mention the part where Wayne was having collar trouble with Ami and we switched dogs, I dropped Z'ev's leash, he lit into Ami....suffice to say, Ami is a saint!)

I've used the leash now in various configuration and I have to say I'm impressed! It may actually help Z'ev adjust to Ami. Used the hands free option to tether too my waist while I did my compost. Even around my ample waist, the leash still leaves about 4 ft for the dog... imagine it would work well for jogging with dog at yourv side. And the traffic handle allows easy and secure close hauling. I was able to walk around the grounds, holding the pet corrector and using as needed while Ami wandered in the vicinity but not too close. And, while opening the electric fencev around the garden, I used the tether function to latch the boy to a tree. This becomes so easy that Z'ev will get more out and about time which I am sure will advance his socialization.

Amy, while the site is impressive and their response to Z'ev eating the muzzle is also - am I not seeing the prices for some reason?  How do you know how much any of these cost??

and yes, laughing, I keep a can of compressed air beside my computer because of our desert dust - but it's been used a time or three on the various animals. Short range, it does get their attention and with Avalanche all I have to do is pick it up!!

I think they don't put the price because they don't sell direct, only through retailers. That leash is list, about half the cost of the Rok leash at list as best I can find.  16.99.  The Rok leash lists somewhere around 35. but can be found various places in the 23-25 range.

The pet corrector is great BUT at 15. per 50 use can...don't think I'll be buying one.  Does the computer can make a loud hissing sound too?
