Subject: Introducing Pretty Girl Coco *Updated 2/22/17* Sat Oct 18, 2014 1:44 am
Well. First off. The story of how I got Coco. So, last year on April 19, 2013 my first Siberian Husky, Rosetta, died. I was devastated about it. I wanted another Husky, but I wasn't ready, so I wanted to wait for a year before getting another one. Fast forward to April of 2014. I decided to get another finally. I started looking everywhere. I wanted a puppy, as in 13 weeks old or younger. I finally found a husky at the beginning of June. She was 7 months old, older than I wanted, but I decided to go look at her and see if I wanted her. Well. I got there, and the lady was nice, but I could tell she didn't know a thing about Huskies. Coco was running around, jumping on the lady, biting the lady and her hair. She was skinny and malnourished. The lady told me that she got up 5:30 AM and walked Coco, then put her in a kennel until 6 PM at night. Right then and there, I decided that she was not staying with that lady. So, I bought her and brought her home. Ever since, I've been training her, taking her for long walks with a long leash, and letting her stay out all day, but sleep in a kennel at night time. She still bites when she's playing, but not as often as when I first got her. She has gained weight, and she just seem happier now. I don't regret buying her at all. She just turned a year old on October 16th.(that's when the lady said her birthday was) I don't know where she was born at or anything. She could be from a puppy mill for all I know, but as long as she is healthy and happy, I don't care. Now, to the pictures. Not the best picture quality.
Sorry for how long that as by the way.
A few weeks after I got her, it was night time(not the best picture)
September picture(she grew into her face more)
Will post more pictures tomorrow. Her birthday pictures to be exact.

You've done a fantastic act of kindness by bringing Coco into your life, the love that literally shines in her (particoloured!) eyes says more than any of us can. Welcome to our world ... so sorry about Rosetta, it seems as if no matter how long they're with us we lose a bit of something when the pass. Coco won't replace her, but from what I see she'll have a spot all her own to fill.

Thank you guys. She's been doing great, even helping me lose the few pounds I've gained since I lost Rosetta! Anyways, here's 2 pictures from her birthday with one of her new toys.

She loves her new toys, lol.
Pictures from our walk earlier.
She was watching a cat.
She found a pine cone and decided to chew on it. She wouldn't let me get it from her, lol.

I noticed that! He has just a little bit more blue in his eye though.
And. Thank you about Rosetta. She was an amazing dog, and I miss her everyday. Also, I'm sorry about Malukhai and Anuschka. I bet they were awesome. They had very beautiful names by the way.

I am sure she was...and I'm sure you do. As do I
And thank you...Anuschka's name goes all the way back to a song my grandfather used to sing my mother back in Germany...in English its "Bring me the Vodka, Anuschka, Anuschka" lol...and Malukhai I chose after watching a movie...and after I had chosen it, found out it translated "my angel" which, he really was
I love Coco's coat color...that reddish brown is awesome!!! you dont see that shade too often

Aww. Both of their names are unique.
I wanted to change Coco's name to Shiloh, but with how hard it is training her, because the other owner didn't teach her anything, I didn't want to confuse her with a different name, so I decided to just leave it as Coco.
And, her coat color is considered Sable. It's a rare coloring, from what I read, but I've been seeing it more and more lately.
Sorry Jeff, this is late! Thank you though, and I have always had a soft spot for sables too. I was excited when I seen her. The lady told me over the phone that she was red, so when I went and bought her, I was thinking "She's not red, she's sable."
Leighanna, she such a pretty girl. Do I remember correctly you were going to change her name and then decided to keep it Coco? I'm glad you did, Coco is such a fitting name for her color (although not the same spelling), I can imagine a warm Coco on a cool night, lol (I know I'm a dork, but she has a warm sense to her).

She's gorgeous, and that's one infectious smile, I came online tired from work, now I'm grinning like mad.
Oh. My. God. I typed out this long response to all of you, like I had individual replies to each of you and everything, and I went to send it in, but the page froze, so everything got erased. I'm so frustrated.
Anyways. Thanks guys. I know it's a late response, but I've been busy with Thanksgiving. Lol.
Renee, I was going to rename, but I'm glad I didn't, because the name fits her.
Thank you Jimmy, winter is coming, so I bet she's very happy because she won't have to deal with those long, humid, hot Georgia summers.
Thank you Theo, I'm glad she could make you smile. She's always making me smile with her dorky ways.

No picture this time, just something that happened today. Well, I was walking Coco earlier, right before it got dark, and her new leash broke. It scared me to death. She started running around the yard, chased a cat, then took off down the road. I swear, my heart dropped. I ran to my car (good thing I still had my keys on me) and started chasing her. I finally got her at the end of the road. I started crying when we got inside the house. I'm just really glad I caught her, because we live on a busy road, and there's a wild pack of dogs that live at the end of the road in the woods. They don't come to my house, but she was heading right for them.

SO glad you got her back Leighanna. That almost happened to me with Kohdi, he managed to snap his harness in two places and started running around, scared me to death cuz the street it happened on, the cars always drive by really fast, anyways, I had to tackle Kohdi to the ground!! (he was on grass so that helped, haha) and then had to walk him home hunchd over him so he wouldnt escape again. He's normally really good with coming to me when called but if he's *free*, its like he's lost his hearing or something. It does get your heart pumping tho doesnt it
Wow. It's been a while since I've been able to update pictures of Coco and how she's doing. She's doing great by the way. I'm finally updating, and I'll try to update more often, but I have been busy lately!
Well, without further ado..
Also, a small surprise video of Coco speaking. Lol. I did this on my sister's bed.
