Hello guys, have you heard about this dog food? It's called Nutripe (wetfood) i tried checking it with dogfoodadvisor but to no avail. I'm currently searching for replacement for Go! as my topper since Goku seems to grow bored of it. anyways, here are the ingredients: Nutripe Lamb and Green Lamb Tripe Lamb Meat *72.08%, Lamb Broth, Green Lamb Tripe *24.27%, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate, Potassium Chloride, Carrageenan, Guar Gum, Cassia Gum, Green Lipped Mussel Extract, Choline Chloride, Iron Amino Acid Chelate, Zinc Amino Acid Chelate, Niacin, Vitamin E Supplement, Selenium Yeast, Calcium Pantothenate, Manganese Amino Acid Chelate, Copper Amino Acid Chelate, Thiamine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Vitamin A Supplement, Biotin, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Folic Acid, Calcium Iodate, Vitamin D3 Supplement. *excluding broth Nutripe Salmon and Green Lamb Tripe Salmon Broth, Salmon *38.75%, Chicken Meat *33.33%, Green Lamb Tripe *24.27%, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate, Potassium Chloride, Carrageenan, Guar Gum, Cassia Gum, Green Lipped Mussel Extract, Choline Chloride, Iron Amino Acid Chelate, Zinc Amino Acid Chelate, Niacin, Vitamin E Supplement, Selenium Yeast, Calcium Pantothenate, Manganese Amino Acid Chelate, Copper Amino Acid Chelate, Thiamine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Vitamin A Supplement, Biotin, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Folic Acid, Calcium Iodate, Vitamin D3 Supplement. *excluding broth Any comments on this brand/ingredients? Thank you guys!

Hi kevin, I don't believe the product is available in the US, it is in Canada and New Zealand, and I had to go to a NZ website in order to see some reviews. It appears to be an excellent food, some raw feeders like it because tripe is a good addition to a raw diet. The only thing I will advise on giving this is if you can do a slow transition, or go like half amount you want to use to begin with and slowly work up to the desired amount you want to give, it can cause loose stool if your dog is not accustomed to tripe. It is an excellent food so I hope your pup enjoys. Great pic by the way. <3

thanks for the input miya! yeah, i read that green tripe is good for dogs. With my topper, what I usually does is mixing the wetfood with hotwater, stir it until it becomes a paste/soupy and pour it over the kibbles (goku rarely eats the dry kibbles alone). Now, with the transition, not quite sure what it would taste if I mix Go! Salmon with Nutripe hmm. heh maybe I'll give it a try and use the same approach with dry foods. Again, thanks!

You're welcome, and in reality that is the best way to feed a dog, excluding raw. The water and pour over the kibble and the added can food, helps the gut digest the food better, so yay I do the same for my gsd, my husky girl prefers the crunch and can't convince her otherwise, lol. Like I said you could try half the amount, but what I read was to do a slow transition, the tripe will probably win in the smell contest anyways, Goku wont notice

i agree. i noticed that when i added gravy on Goku's food he started to have firm stool (never happened before) so yeah, the idea is correct, it has been processed by his tummy better. and yes, I'll definitely try your suggestion miya. Anyway, will the whole house stink because of tripe? orijen six fish kinda smell the whole room before hehe.

I am not positive it is the exact same brand but I believe I just saw it this weekend at PetPeople. They have a great source for a variety of good can foods. I will check it again when I go back as I was interested base on the ingredients (the lamb and green tripe one) I thinking it was good maybe add it to my dogs diet. Let me know what you think of it and of the smell as I have not tried any yet. I will let you know if it really was the same brand.

Colleen, please let all of us know if it's available here in the US, I was pretty impressed with it and from regular every day people it ranked a 4.7 out of 5 stars, so that is a plus. Kevin, unknown, raw feeders say it is smelly but that is typically fresh tripe, so let us know how bad it smells, being that it is formulated as a can food product it may not smell too bad.

| Okay I found that Pet People sells a different brand. Tripett not the Nutripe. Here is the brand for you Renee tripett green lamb tripe
I found that Natural Animal Nutrition Inc. ( LINK ) is a (Mid Atlantic) vendor of NuTripe though I have not really checked it out. They do have a storefront commerce portion of their site though.
Still interested to know if it is smelly! I think I might try a can though of the Tripett one since I can find it local. |

Kangaroo is supposed to be an exceptional source of complete protein, with virtually no saturated fat. I have tried kangaroo meat canned formula with Zignature brand and my boys loved it. I have no experience with KOHA though it does look like a good review.
