Hey all! So I got to visit a wolf sanctuary here in NM over the weekend! Anyone who has me on FB probably already knows it as well. It was great. We got a general tour and information about all the wolves they had. They also had coyotes, dingos, new guinea singing dogs, and a fox. Then we got a to meet one of the wolves named Forest (the one you see me with in the pictures). He was incredibly sweet and loved giving me kisses. Most of them were hybrids but there were a couple of pure wolves as well. I'll put some of the photos here and I'll try to get some videos for you all to check out as well!

They definitely are
Here are some videos I took. Sorry if they get a little shaky; at a couple of points I wasn't actually looking through my camera.

So beautiful!!! What a great experience! I've always wanted to do that, there's a wolf sanctuary here somewhere...I really have to make an effort to visit it. I never realized wolves got so heavy! 150 lbs!!! Wow! Thanks for sharing the pics and videos Rocio.

The picture of the pure wolf<??> above you and Forest is beautiful, and the little red fox is 'cute' (knowing that they can be anything but cute!) What's it like over there when it's warmer, bearable or too hot <and remember where I live>.

Awesome pics and videos Rocio! I absolutely adore the pair, the last pic, they are handsome pups! You are so lucky to have been able to go! We have 2 here in Texas, and I believe both are way too far for me to go and visit.

Thanks, happy to share! Al, I believe that one was also a hybrid but a high content one. She was very shy, I only got the pics because it was feeding time lol.
And the weather was actually quite nice. The highs was like upper 60s and at night it was in the 30s but we stayed in a cabin which had heating and everything. They also had camping spots so there were several people staying in RVs from other states like Florida!
Renee, those pups were definitely cute! Sadly, we weren't allowed to pet It was about a 5 hour drive from us, so not too far but not exactly a day trip either. We ended up spending the weekend in a cabin at the sanctuary to make the most of it.

Thanks, Leo! I loved the howling as wel. The best part is that they have camp sites and a cabin for people to stay the night in. We stayed in the cabin since nights are too cold but throughout the night we could hear them howling as well. It was incredible
