| I got kisses when I picked up Bodhi from the doggy ER this afternoon.
He hasn't thrown up for a day and a half. Supposed to give him special bland dog food for 3-5 days and a cocktail of meds. They think he's burned his esophagus with all the vomiting, so they gave me something for that.
It will be 3-5 days until we are out of the woods. |

| Cautiously optimistic this AM.
Last night he ate a half cup of EN diet and held it down for two hours. Then I gave him his meds and he instantly threw up.
He didn't throw up in the night.
This morning, I got the meds down him a different way- in little meat balls of the special food. But then he didn't want to eat the rest of his breakfast.
We just went for a short, one mile walk and he seemed normal. Now he is pacing. |

| I think throwing up at least once, once home, is to be expected, I'm still optimistic...Bodhi is a strong boy |

| Saturday AM update: Bodhi made it all day yesterday without vomiting. He took all his meds fine. He had a good night last night. Still feeding him small portions every 4 hours, but I hope we have turned the corner. |

| Monday: It's up and down. Saturday night, he threw up three times. I think it was how I was giving him the meds. Sunday, I tried a new way and he held down food and meds. Today, he's holding the meds down. But he's not eating... |

| this sounds so frustrating, I know i would be going crazy worrying over my baby (hell i am worrying over my baby) i hope you can connect the meds with his food in a way that he stops puking. Poor guy can't be feeling that well, i know that's the only time Sierra and Jack really look crappy is when their tummy's hurt. _________________ |

| He's been three days without vomiting. Tomorrow is the last day of the meds. We are introducing regular food, mixed with bland stuff, tonight.
Beau-dee.
Thanks for your concern, Jimmy. |

| Awesome! I'm so glad to hear it! That's the pronunciation I had in my head, but I was curious since it could be pronounced like the word "body" too. |

| My wife named him after Bodhisattva- spiritual seeker of truth.
I meet guys who ask Bodhi's name. I tell them and they ask, "Oh I get it. You're a skier. You named him after Bodie Miller, right?"
I met girls who want to know his name. Invariably, they say, "Oh, I get it. From the Hindu, right?"
It's hysterical! |

| Ha! I thought Bodhi Miller myself, hahaha
I love the name.
Glad he's feeling better, I know he's not completely out of the woods yet but it's a positive sign. Thank you for keeping this thread updated, I hate when any of our pups are sick. |

| Michael, so glad to hear Bodhi is getting better I thought Bodhi's name was for the skier, too...except, his name is spelled differently so I wondered if maybe there was some Indian influence. Spiritual seeker of truth - kind of fits that elusive husky deep, haunting look they can get in their eyes. |

| He started on some normal food last night. Today, I took Bodhi to day care for two hours. They said he was very subdued. Last meds are tonight.
Thanks Ashleigh and Amy, David, Jimmy, Jen, and BeMoreHusky I hope this is turned around. |

| Thanks, Leo. He ate all regular food this AM (TOTW) and seemed OK on our walk. It didn't help that it's going to be 100 here today. |
