| Well, Lukas started losing his teeth. We found one on the sofa a few days ago, we can hear him crunching on loose ones in his mouth, and yesterday we came home to his bed covered (well not COVERED but localized soaking) in blood with a tooth sticking out of the fabric. The poor thing is so uncomfortable and all he wants to do is chew on his teething nylabone. We've tried freezing some of the teething bones but they don't stay cold long enough for him to do much with them. We heard about freezing towels but towels are one of Lukas FAVORITES. He'd shred and eat it as soon as we gave it to him.
Anyone have any recommendations on good teething toys or anything? Also, not sure how long the tooth losing period lasts? He's five and a half months old (I recently said he was 6 months but APPARENTLY I can't divide by four properly...). I think I read it goes till 8 months? |

| If you get one of the rope tug toys soak it and freeze it that works pretty good. |

| I've always been afraid to use those, I've heard some mixed things about the rope toys causing problems when ingested... Are they ok to give to pups then (supervised of course)? I mean, he's ingested some gnarly things and they've passed just fine...
Maybe I'll have the mr stop by Petsmart after work... |

| Most dogs don't just straight up eat them. Like any other toy once they start to destroy it you should most likely replace it. |

| Dev, teething until 8 months, yep, it is possible. My Sofie had all her adults in around 6 months and then at 8 months her way back molars came in. I used bones, and cow ears. Cow ears are healthier and last longer than pig ears, and there were times where she would chew on a cow ear for an hour. so along with Elise's advice that is mine. As far as tuggies, I buy cotton type, natural fiber kind, and trim off loose threads whenever you see any. |

| For tug toys he LOVES the Kong wubbas.
And LOL at the waffles. My mom said the same about bagels but we don't really keep them on hand.
We saw a few freezie toys from the toys r us line at Petsmart but we're concerned he'll puncture those and we don't know what the "water" inside actually is. |
