| In just under 5 minutes, Crazo Dog bounds into the living room and bits a chunk out of the one year old Broyhill sofa cushion!! I turned my back for just those few minutes and...WHAM! Here I am screaming and yelling and I just know he's thinking "We are really having fun now!". He's wagging his tail and running like a crazy dog through the house. He fears nothing or no one... I finally made him sit long enough to catch and put him in the half-bath (which is his time out room) but I'm sure by then he had no clue what he was in time out for. Uggghhhh....puppies..... |

| Congratulations. You are now officially a husky mom. I know how frustrating it is, but that's his cue: he needs more exercise and attention. A tired husky is a happy husky. I wish I could tell you that this wasn't common, but unfortunately, it is. Just ask Eddy about his sofa. Take solace in that we've all been there. Koda has eaten our couch, 4 pairs of dress shoes, my Scottish wool blanket (that I got while I lived there for a year- SO upset about that), and Hailey's eaten every other blanket I own....literally. Boredom is your worst enemy. _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| I had been initiated 20 years ago when our first husky chewed an ink pen up on the carpet (the carpet was SO new it had not been paid for yet), chewed through the water line to the toilet, ate an entire toilet brush, destroyed some berber carpet (that's interesting to see - it runs like pantyhose) and I'm sure I'm forgetting something! It's raining here this morning, so he's stuck inside more. You are correct...bored, I'm sure |

| Hahaha....ahhh, wise in the ways of huskies! Yeah... we had to replace the berber carpet in our last apartment because of the running issue :p Boo.. I'm so sorry about the sofa... I hate it when that happens!! _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| WOW! I would cry if my sofa was eaten! There are huskies out there that do not destroy things. My Dakota is one of them. Since day one he has never chewed on anything he wasn't suppse to. Such a good boy! Willow is a typical Husky though. So far it has been small things, so yeah, hearing they can eat your couch is a huge motivator to keep her excersized. |

| oh I totally feel your pain! My Mya (when she was about 7 months old...shes now about to be 5 and totally over it) COMPLETELY ate/destroyed our leather couch, curtains, and wall in mater of 30min. Yep, 30min! From that moment on she was in her crate if I didn't have 100% attention on her until she turned 2. Now, with Kody, it's like I'm the husky police after his sock eating issue!!!!
It's normal for the most part !!!! Mindy, you are one lucky husky mom!!! |

| I lucked out so much with Koda, he never tore up anything important.. the worst he's ever done was at a year chewed up his first ruffwear harness because we left him home for a long time without taking him out for a walk first and I left it laying in the yard. I feel like I am going to get hell with my next one. |
