| Hey guys! Now that school is done, I can finally post this. One of Mylo's most notable quirks that has been confirmed time and time again is how different he is during walks between me and my girlfriend. *Who does your husky prefer to go on a walk with?* Me and Mylo during a walk: It can be either with collar or harness, he does good on both but I prefer the harness for better control on the side of the street. Since its been warm lately, I have been walking him around the neighborhood. Overall he is great on walks..with me. He has never walked to the side of me but he likes to be in front. I'm okay with it because he doesn't pull or anything he just wants to be hanging out front. ..However.. My girlfriend and Mylo when she attempts to walk him: He pulls, stands up right, hops..she thinks its crazy how he's so calm with me on a walk. Most times she cant even take him out in peace to poop/pee. She definitely prefers the harness but she doesn't walk him because of how he is. Yeah she has tried the stop and continue technique but its no use she says. It should be noted that I have always been the one that primarily walks him..including park time. But besides that issue with my gf, he is obviously a mommas boy, he loves to be up with her on the bed and everything else expected. I don't know if that adds or makes a difference to how he is with her on a walk. Now here is a little pic of Mylo Taking a break during our walk yesterday.

| Kenzi prefers to be walked by me. If my husband walks her she panics and looks for me. If I get too far ahead or walk away she will cry. It isn't normal for her to be with him and it makes her nervous for the change because she doesn't understand why the change has happened. _________________ |

| Ami prefers...whoever wants to take him However, he is definitely different depending on who's walking him. With me, I keep a brisk pace and use "on by" as soon as I see his attention focusing on something...unless my knee or foot hurt, then we stop and schmie here and there. With Wayne, who walks slower and is a bit of a pussycat with Ami, he stops, looks, goes back and forth across the road - in general as if he has Wayne on the leash. With Josh. Oh man...its pull pull pull. We all have him walk in front - me because there is just enough tension on the leash to keep me in a comfortably slightly leaning forward position (the "shopping cart position" which is so good for lumbar spinal stenosis.) I do, however, practice "heel" with him for a bit of every walk - usually approaching intersections and having him sit at the intersection. I use heel for high traffic or crowd situations to keep him safe. |

| Gabby does better walking with me than my GF. I think part of that is I walk at a faster pace than my GF. I believe Gabby is a Daddy's girl though and seems to like to do most things with me more. :/ Don't tell my girlfriend that though. In general Gabby actually seems to like Men more than women which is not the case for most dogs from what I understand. |

| Maila walks with whomever takes her out. My dad takes her out with her harness and lets her go off alone into the hills/desert so she can run freely and chase some bunnies (she has never catched one). Once she gets kind of tired he gets the leash and puts it on.
With me on the other hand, I walk her to the park and never let her go off alone. She's always by my side. Sometimes she pulls but nothing serious. I used to have a collar on her when she was smaller but she would pull and choke, so I bought her the harness and problem solved.
To make things short, she walks good with everyone but prefers running in the hills/desert.

| Loki seems to be pretty good with me and Jenn, but it seems like he causes more grief for Jenn. She will complain about something he does during a walk but then if we both walk him he behaves better. Still not a fan of loud trucks/vehicles, but working on it. |

| Cora will walk nicely with me but she prefers my dad since he gives her more treats on the walk, she just knows I won't take her shit so she heels more for me. |

| Dakota is ecstatic about ANYONE who will walk him. That said, he would try to get away with murder if he could. So how he behaves on lead depends entirely on what the person walking him allows him to get away with. He knows better than to try any funny business with me or my husband. They're just like children, constantly pushing the envelope and seeing what they can get away with and with whom.
Prince, on the other hand, only wants to be walked by me. He is my daughters dog, but since I am the primary caretaker he is like my shadow. If I am not the one walking him, he puts on the brakes and will make you drag him. Even my daughter cannot walk him unless I am right there with her. _________________ |

| Mia doesn't have much preference, but she does pull harder for me than she does my fiancé.
Luka, however, refuses to poop if I don't walk him, and screeches if my fiancé walks slower than me.
So we've learned to adapt- I take the pup out, and my Mr takes charge of Mias longer walkies. |

| Wow it's interesting to see that most huskies have a preference We're over here thinking Mylo is weird haha ***NEXT "preference"*** Now that we are in husky preferences, how do y'all's huskies deal with pooping when it's raining/wet grass? I say this cause when it's rainy...Mylo will pee with no problem but that furry boy holds his poop in for as long as possible! He will refuse to poop on wet grass..he will pee real quick and then wants to go back in the house. Most of the time he gets himself to poop on the porch but yesterday..this little booger pooped in the kitchen!! granted he had been holding it in since the night before... I've been wanting to discuss these things for a while to get a perspective |

| Kai will poop in the rain, but it takes her a little longer to find the perfect spot. She usually tries to hold it in until she gets some running in at the dog park.
Mako is like the post man. Rain, shine, snow, hurricane, he will poop whenever and wherever. He seems to prefer concrete for some reason... |

| Well, let's see, I have two dogs, right? Could they be more different ... not too likely. Avalanche: If the wind's gusting over about 20mph -or- it's raining -or- there's any lightening/thunder in the neighborhood, he'll burst before he goes out that door! then it's out, do whatever he absolutely has to and it's "Dad, I want IN!! Sasha: Eh, who cares?? If it's raining, no big deal; if it's windy, no big deal ... The only thing they have in common is they do not like loud noises. The few times I've fired my pistol Sasha heads in to 'her room' (she's claimed the front store room as hers) and Avalanche hides in the corner by the couch until I stop and then he's VELCRO! _________________ “Properly trained, a man can be dog’s best friend.” Corey Ford . |

| Huh Never noticed, never thought about it. Ami only comes in when its raining because I don't want a wet wooly one. Truth be told, I think the only reason he EVER comes inside is 'cause there's food. And I drag him in...sometimes literally. So I assume he has no problem peeing or pooping in the rain or the sunshine. Of course that guy can hold his bladder for eternity, I think. Oh, there is one time he comes in voluntarily...eagerly actually. Thunder or neighbors shooting guns. Than its DING DONG DING DONG DING DONG.... LET ME IN!!! |

| LOL Well as its been pouring rain the past 6 hours...
Mia will not poop in the rain. She pees, pulls us home, and promptly hides under anything with a low clearance. She. Hates. Rain.
Luka on the other hand poops like a monster rain or shine. He complains about it the entire time (my neighbors give me the side eye every time). |

| @Jenah At least Kai eventually lets it out! I'm jealous haa And Mako is a true champ wow, the concrete might be a reason for it too since his paws won't sink in to dirt and stuff...my boy will let it out on the concrete by the porch SOMETIMES. @aljones The name Avalanche is perfect! He does his business like he's running from an avalanche haha good pup. Sasha is a champ. Awww they are both scared of loud sounds, their poor ears. That's knew thing in surprised Mylo isn't scared of. Thunder, fireworks, my drums (he's in the next room), he's good. However he has a certain skill of knowing when something is about to tip over. He hasn't heard a gun though. @amymeme Only comes on cause food lol reminds me of how my girlfriend says Mylo on listens to her cause she gives him little scraps sometimes haha and about the bladder, these dogs have some kind of skill cause I couldn't hold it for as long as Mylo does sometimes. Wow so them loud sounds are his terror awww little Ami..I know he ain't little lol @TigerCzarnia Mia is a real trooper if she hates rain so much then she wouldn't do it or poop inside like someone.... Wait so Luka whines while doing his business in the rain?? lol |

| @davecerv Luka pretty much just wines all the time. Mia looks at him, Mia doesn't look at him, he gets a treat, he has to wait for me to pick up his poop... He's a whiney bugger! |

| It's funny, my two love to walk in the rain, but letting them out to do their business, Kohdi is fine with it, Mishka on the other hand , it's like each drop is a bullet |
