They look great. One of my best friends breeds arabians. Can't remember what type, but when I was in school I used to sit up with her at night while she was rifling through pedigrees of studs to find exactly what she was looking to get for breeding. There is such interesting history in the Arabs. Very well documented lines. _________________

No studs for her. She doesn't like dealing with the temperaments of keeping them. She has one gelding she uses for riding. He's Arab/Quarter cross. Both her girls had girls. Her breeding mares are all from Khemosabi lineage and she had them artificially inseminated with a stud out of some northern state that has the Aladdinn and Kharben lines. After looking all of them up they are all sporting event horses. _________________

I had a friend who had quarter-horses ( he was going to breed them but they were more pets ) Had a big black and white stallion that he was afraid of. I'd get in the ring / pen with him and Mike just knew I was going to get kicked. Foolish horse would walk right up to me and ask for his forehead to be scratched - Mike never could figure out why *his* horse was gentle with me and wild with him (the secret was that I never walked in with a whip!) _________________ “Properly trained, a man can be dog’s best friend.” Corey Ford .

I had a mustang that was taken out of the wild from California (neat horse. Helicopter caught and had a serial number brand and everything) and sticks were her thing. she hated people who had sticks. Would throw a rider over it and run away. They get to know items very well. _________________

horses are intelligent..and they know when they cannot trust people...just like they know when they can...my two were not rideable when i got them...and now..well..look i can ride phoenix bareback with just a lead rope and serenity bareback or with a bareback pad..i can shoot my bow from their backs..do jousting etc...they know when they can trust a human..do i use a crop? yes..but i use it as a guide..i put pressure..i never hit them..the long whip i have for lunging them..never makes contact with them...so they do not fear me when i approach with a whip..or sword
